I've got Elements but it hates my lack of RAM and thus implodes too much to be much use :p.

Hmmm, they are ok.
I perferred the ones posted a good half year or more ago. I remember, they were faded, and the Zoids in the were almost invisible with all the blending, and such. Was really cool looking. I wonder if the thread with those pics is still around.

My computer memory is very low at this point...This suckkksss..I don't throw away nothing...
Hetman - August 5, 2006 03:32 PM (GMT)
In my 250GB HD, I only have 4 gigabytes left. =(
Although I never have a problem with RAM. I loving 2GBs of RAM. FoD, you ask someone to get Photoshop for you.... like a crack. I'm just going to leave it from there. :p
HaTcH - August 5, 2006 03:59 PM (GMT)
lOlz.. When it comes to hard drive space, my computer is a storeage whore.
C:\ 80gb->6gb free (windows)
D:\ 60gb->24gb free (the rest is a linux distro anyway..)
E:\ 250gb->31gb free (zoids dvd vobs and compressed episodes)
F:\ 250gb->207gb free (the newest one)
Totals: 640gb total, 268gb free whut
I also took my system to the next level with 1.0gb of RAM. The worst part was, it was PC1066 RDRAM and it was hellaexpensive--but hellafast. Linux enjoys that amount of ram, but windows never really uses all of it. I think I have to adjust the pagefile size.. I don't think I need one really :P
If you are pressed for space and: 1. are using windows xp 2. are using system restore:
Goto Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore and create a new restore point for today.
Close that out once its done.
Now, goto Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup
Let that program scan you hard drive and once its done a window with checkboxes will appear. At the top of that window, click the tab labeled 'More Options' and click System Restore. Depending on how long your computer has been using system restore, you may very well have 10 gigs or useless files/junk stored on your hard drive.
It also doesn't hurt to clean up your temporary internet files and regular temp files.
I just followed my own directions here and now C is up to 10.6 gigs of free space w00t!
*~*~*~>I think its about time we left the keygen stuff alone. No more talk about it.

wow...i post one thing and it turns into computer talk (aka gibberish)...scary...
Demon_Within - August 6, 2006 09:22 PM (GMT)
Thats a lot of Gigs, Hatch, for a personal computer. I think our current networks computers are around 875 gigs each. We rarely exceed half that however, most new files being removed daily and submitted to myself, or others. Only 2 gigs of RAM though, which isn't a lot, for that much storage, and given what we do.
It does do justice however in my office, where I've been known to close the blinds, and have my way with games such as Half-Life, Counter Strike, and Call of Duty. (Will not admit to having beaten Prey already)
Its also nice I switched us to Comcast. No lag what-so-ever. Virtually no loading for just about anything.
The only bad decision I ever made for this company was the 100 gallon salt water fish tank in the lounge area, right by the vending machines. Only took one overnighter to get pissed at the machine for eating one too many of his dollars, before a large object was thrown at the machines front, which bounced off, hitting the tank. I wasn't too fond of the fact it was right over my office, either.
Hatch, what processor are you running under?

Its only gibberish to those who do not understand the language.
Lets just call it, adaptive conversation. Conversation that adapts to the interests of others more positively, than a single specific topic. The evolution of conversation?
Lets just say, computers are more interesting than images that have a few quality alterarions, and filters?
I like the Helcat one, if only you could see more of the body in that type of style. It indeeds almost looks infaredish.

The proc is an Intel Chip, Lexington 3 ~ 2.53ghz. Nothing special, except it was state-of-the-art a few years ago :P
The mobo is the
D850EMV2, though some of the stuff it mentions I dont have, such as onboard video/audio, But I've got something like 5 or 6 PCI expansion slots, of which everyone (except maybe 1) is utilized.

Its funny how things can be knocked down from state-of-the-art to nothing special in a somewhat short period of time. Simply must love technology.
Thats not bad, Hatch. For a personal, not bad at all.
