Title: More Zoids in the Media!
HaTcH - February 28, 2007 04:11 AM (GMT)
I was watching Independence Day just before and something in a commercial caught my ear...
http://downloads.ligersunion.com/dukes.wmvThis is not the first time I've seen this happen either!

Hahahaha, that's awesome. XD I wonder if they'll use the music IN the movie?? But I think I'd be too afraid to watch!
Last time I heard Zoids music in a commercial was for some... laser game I saw advertised on CN.

Sweet. My favorite tune in Zoids. Gotta find it somewhere...

Yeah, Robert Etoll's scores get around. He's in high demand as a film composer, so it's not surprising that the various scores he composed for CC have been recycled and become stock music.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing last night during the ID movie time slot while on commerical.
I thought I was hearing things or something. XD;

O_o Are you running Vista? If not, where did you get that theme at? Looks rather nice. :D
HaTcH - April 19, 2007 02:08 AM (GMT)
No, thats just a straight up Windows XP Home box.
But anyway, people take the default 'Luna' theme (responsible for Blue, Olive, and Chrome windows XP styles) and ResHack the images embedded in the file and make custom themes.
You get 'hacked' themes from any place that has them, I got this from a site called BelchFire.net. But before you can use them you have to find some program called the uxTheme patcher (which should be downloadable from their site somewhere), which screws around with a windows DLL to allow you to specify custom themes.
You need to be very careful doing such work, as it can leave you with a desktop (and start-bar) with no designs or buttons, and just blackness surrounding your icons. I mean, if you know where they're at you can still use the computer, but its like being blind pretty much. If you're good, (and you screwed up and got blackness) you can switch windows over to the old fashioned Windows 9x look, and then try patching the uxtheme file again.
Anyway, if you successfully patched your uxTheme.dll file, you shouldn't have any issue using custom WindowsXP themes found on the site I mentioned.

Ohhhhh..... Alright. I never jacked with any of that, so I thought it was a Visa theme. XD
*has Vista Ultimate on laptop*
EDIT: That was easy... But I had to do it manually though. O.o I've got like, 20 themes now. XD
