This is the best I can come up with in terms of something close to a general discussion thread,

This one is about me being stupid and weird. It relates to small plastic mecha, because aside from maknig them fight and watching TV, I didn't do much of anything else-

Before I knew about Super Sentai, or that Power Rangers came from a Japanese show at all, despite the blatently spliced/edited footage, I eventually ended up with five Power Rangers 'Megazords'* **. Occassionally I would make two fight, but without separating them into their component mecha. I would make them fight many, many times. Then I would get bored and not touch any of them for a while. It would never occur to me at that time to use any of the three I hadn't been using.

This one is about me being stupid, and partly about action figures-

At one point I had action figures for different TV shows. Over time, my parents would occasionally ask if I wanted to throw anything out. Every time I threw out everything from a franchise, I would regret it for a really, really long time. I never learned from that.

* - The adapatation refered to mecha in gneeral as 'Zords' (which is, needless to say, suspiciously close to 'Zoids', which of course had been around for ten or so years before). Super Sentai doesn't have a group name for its mecha in general, but it has a mecha group name for each season.

** - I still have some, but thats kind of obvious since they've appeared in pictures. (Also, a few of my Bakuryuu are US versions but since my Japanese versions outnumber them I refer to all of them as Bakuryuu)

I'm sure everyone else had some stupid/funny stuff happen, because that happens to children, so... what stpid/funny/weird randomness occured in your childhood?

Lets see, I have a list somewhere...

I was probably about 5 when I remember playing in my house and finding a rather large and fuzzy spider scuttling across the floor. I continued playing with my toys when it seemingly charged at me. I fell backwards in fear and conked my head on the floor.

One day, my favorite fish jumped out the top of its bowl and went straight out the window while doing so. We never found him. :(

My sister sat on my first Gunsniper(and first Zoid), and fatally damaged it. Leg snapped off as well as part of the tail.
