Title: TRANSFORMERS!... ROBOTS IN DISGUISE!

I'm... a bit surprised no one posted this.. but ... meh.

Good movie.. I loved it.

I "know" there is going to be a second one.... Galvatron anyone?

But.. I'm not sure if it will beat Rushhour 3.

I'm going to see it on Tuesday (half-price tickets FTW). But everyone I've talked to says it's really good.

One guy in my Digital Media class did a little project on it, which was rather fantastic.

I saw it. There are a few holes in the story, but nothing that can't be ignored. I mean, when you get right down to it, it IS what it's supposed to be. So overall it was pretty cool. And it was extremely intense. @_@

Saw it on opening evening, loved it.

Two sequels have actually been green-lighted. Some names brought up as possibles for the sequels are Soundwave, the Constructicons and the Dinobots.

Very good movie I have to say. I saw the bootleg at my job, lol..

I like the transformations. Theres like a billion things moving when they transform.

omgee! I wanted to see it SOOOOO bad with the guys in meh band, but we never got to go. So outta 10, what you guys rate it???

JammerLea - July 28, 2007 06:18 AM (GMT)
According to what it's supposed to be, I'd give it an 8 or 9. According to like, plot and characters and all that story stuff, about a 6 or 7.

If you like intense action, lots of characters, and robots destroying everything, you'll LOVE it.

If you're into a deep story and character development... not so much.

At least that's my humble opinion.

I'll give it points for having an obnoxious top government employee who actually does something besides being obnoxious.

I saw it opening night too, and yes, I have to say, I'm pleasently surprized by Michael Bay. Whose movies I normally find incredibly 'meh', like The Island and Armageddon.

and, OMG HFS FTW DINOBOTS IN SEQUEL HOPE

At least I hope they put in Trypticon in a later movie if not.

I also hope the Dinobots will be in a sequel. Hopefully it won't be as predictable as this one.

I think there's only one thing that stops this from being a horrible movie. That being, the movie Optimus Prime not only had the same voice actor, but was protrayed in a very similar way, both in personnality and abilities, as the Optimus Prime from the original series.

As I've said before, Optimus Prime was a childhood hero to many people. That means, nostalgivc fans are largely interested in this movie because they want to see Optimus Prime.

If Optimus Prime wasn't so important to the nostalgic part of the franchise, I'd consider this a horrible movie, because, being a 'special effects blockbuster', everything is not only completely predictable, but also stretched out for a very long time.
