So... I don't quite know how it happened, but somebody on FurAffinity posted a picture, that had a chibi-ish Krystal (from star fox) eating a sandwich.
Somehow, over the last couple of days, this theme has EXPLODED. X3
Theres hundreds of new submissions all based on the sandwich meme.
Someone created an account to fave all of em. Its fun to go look over.

No doubt. On the FA forums, there was a poll conducted asking basically, do you liek the fad or not. I crap you not, it's almost perfectly 50/50 and has had a LOT of votes.

It's known outside that site now. It's on a wikipedia-wannabe site that I really cannot even post the link to, due to the nature of its articles and pictures on the articles.
So yes, it's outside FA, but you don't want to know about wat's going on with it outside FA

Are you talking about Encyclopedia dramatica? It doesn't exactly look like they found the meme all that amusing. It seems like they're laughing at FA's admins, actually.

Encyclopedia dramatica... and they were laughing at furries in general. They mentioned specific information relatinga furry site so that they seemed like they knew what they were talking about.
... actually, Encyclopedia Dramatica has a lot of articles that seem to only exist so the ED staff can talk about how much they hate the specific group the article relates to.
