Armor Description:
While small, the Cannon Tortoise is very well armored. The shell covering it's body is extremely thick and can take a lot of punishment. The short legs and head that aren't protected by the shell also have relatively strong armor and have the option of retracting into the shell for greater protection. The only truly unarmored location is the underbelly.

Liquid-Cooled Particle Beam Cannon - This large cannon is situated on the Cannon Tortoise's back and extends from within the shell over the head at a slight upward angle. It is designed for bombardment and fires beam shells of energized particles. They are very explosive and can deal a lot of damage to anything caught in it's 10 meter blast radius.

Recoil Control Spike - Located on the tail of the Cannon Tortoise, this spike is designed to handle the recoil of the Particle Beam Cannon. Without it the recoil of the cannon would likely damage the Cannon Tortoise itself. Even with the spike the recoil is strong enough that it is recommended that one fire the particle beam cannon only once or twice per round.

20mm double-barreled Machine Guns - Essentially four guns, two mounted on either side of the Cannon Tortoise’s shell. They have nearly unlimited vertical movement and a little bit of horizontal movement too though they normally rely on the Cannon Tortoise’s poor turning for horizontal aim.

Composite Sensor - The composite sensor located on the rear portion of the Cannon Tortoise’s shell is capable of using 3D mapping, radar, and infrared to locate just about any stealth Zoid. The 3D Radar is also helpful at aiming and improving the accuracy of the normally inaccurate heavy artillery cannon.
