Aerial Maneuverability:
Designed for defense and bombing the Pteras wasn't exactly made for great aerial maneuverability. However, it isn't horrible either. It's actually good at low-speed turning and it can even hover. It should also be noted that it is better at take-off and landing than most air Zoids because of it's vertical design.

Armor Description:
Because it had to defend itself better than most air Zoids against both air and ground enemies the Pteras has relatively good armor considering how old it is. The Pteras' armor is stronger than the armor of the Storm Sworder, Redler, and Raynos, and can take it's fair share of punishment.

Magnessor Wings- At first glance one would think the Pteras' wings weak. It's actually the opposite. The Pteras' magnessor wings limit the amount of mass needed for the wings to fly and use complex magnetics to fill in the gaps with pure force. This allows the Pteras to not only fly at the speed it does but also allows the Pteras to hover. Also, the Pteras' wigns are a lot harder to destroy because they there's less of hit to actually hit and they can still work even with a few cracks.

16mm Vulcan Gun - This small gun is mounted on the right side of the Pteras' head and can be used against both air and ground targets.

Air-to-surface 2-shot Missile Pod x2 - Mounted on the sides of the chest and normally downward-facing, these pods pack a total of 4 missiles designed to hit ground targets. They are standard in ways of firing, visual locking, and heat targeting. Due to their speed and poor arcing they are best used to bomb ground targets rather than engage air targets.

ATA 2-Shot Automatic Pursuit Missile Launcher-
Mounted on the back of the Pteras, rear-facing, this launcher packs 2 missiles designed to hit enemy air Zoids like the Redler that try to pursue the Pteras. Each missile has has slightly better heat tracking and guidance than normal missiles but their power is still that of a normal missile.
