I was trying to install dimensionex on my hosting account but it only let me upload WAR files. How can I install dimensionex using my hosting account option? Do I need to convert the zip package into a WAR file?

Any help will be most appreciated.

no problem, just do the following:

1) ZIP all your dimx folder (also you can use the dimx kit, by deleting first the included PDF files)
2) rename to .WAR
3) Upload!

If it does not work, it is just because the web.xml file does not correspond to the server's tomcat version so replace it if necessary.

By the way, I usually apply this technique when uploading on my servers from remote. ;)
