1. The people who have power in the world and what they do with it. (Okay so technically that isn't a *thing*...*sticks fingers in ears*...Lalalala, I can't hear you!) That is, until I become dictator of the world. Then I'll be able to pay *others* to be scared of *me*.
2. The MS Word paperclip. Okay he doesn't so much scare me as annoy me, but even after I've banished him to the depths of the er.... program (?!) I have the creepy feeling that he's gonna pop up when I least expect it with an 'innocent suggestion' or two on how I write my letters etc... and there's this scary scenario in my head where he keeps suggesting things and I say no, and then I finally tell him to go away and then he... doesn't. And he starts, like, addressing me by my real name and saying he knows what I'm thinking and - yeah... he disturbs me. What's funny is, one of my best friends, (before she knew of my aversion) said because of the way he looks, (to quote "all cheeky-like"), he reminds her of... me. :blink: So maybe that means I am scared of myself. I'm sure Freud would have fun with that.
3. Settling. And before I risk telling another big story like I did above, I'll leave you to figure out what that means and move on to the next point. :)

1. My friends. (Yes, again, more than one person but I don't care!) They're a hilarious bunch in so, so, sooo many different ways.

1. Liver. Or ketchup. Or worse... liver *with* ketchup.. *Shudder*
2. I hate it when I get irritated with people because they share the traits which I dislike about myself, and then I hate not being able to change myself, (or at least change myself fast enough), to solve that problem. And then I hate that I spend too much time not really accepting myself to begin with. Vicious cycle. ;)
3. I hate people who will not even *listen* to a point of view other than their own, (which is thankfully NOT one of the things I hate because I'm secretly the same ;)), that bugs me to no end. Sure, by all means have your own opinion and don't change it, but at least *pretend* you have at least the modicum of respect for other people that's required when you *listen*.

Three things I don't understand:
1. Why a Human Biology degree involves studying algae for months on end, (yeah, still smarting over that one. At least the animal bio modules were interesting).
2. A variety of foreign languages, (much to my chagrin. I *will* become fluent in many languages one day! I will! I will!), hablo solo ingles! *Cries*
3. Why, no matter how tired (physically and mentally) I may be, and no matter how frequently I've been dozing off throughout the day, as soon as I lie on my bed, sleep goes "BYE BYE!" and lets me just carry on being exhausted. Until I turn hyper. Which isn't so much fun for those around me. ;)

1. Just three? There are a lot of things on my desk. Oh well. Hmm. A stack of books I just finished reading, (yes, I finished them all within half an hour of each other. I read more than one book at a time. Means I might take a while to finish any one book, but when I do finish them, I finish five others too and suddenly find myself with nothing to read. :( ).
2. Uni loan forms. Or in administrative-y language an ' A student application for higher education support 2005/6'. Whatever you call it, I've kinda missed the deadline already... :/
3. An as yet unused,(in the traditional sense... its 'baptism' will be on September 19th) tea set with a kung fu fighting, dancing hamster in one mug, chopsticks, scissors and a screwdriver, a hair bobble, two energizer batteries and three Canadian two dollar coins in the other, yet thankfully nothing in the teapot. (Don't ask why it's there in the first place).

1. I am singing along to my music, (but not as enthusiastically or as loudly as usual because it is close to 3am), which is coming out of my headphones.
2. Planning my tomorrow (which is in fact now my today) with a friend of mine over MSN, (as, and it's a quote again " [my] insistence on writing full words and grammatically correct texts is wasting [me] incredible amounts of money and [she] might as well come on MSN where it's free so at least [I] won't burn my whole uni loan before I even get it"), though she should really be in bed.
3. Flipping through various crazy photos from my trip a couple of weeks ago. Just goes to show I am insane only because my friends made me that way. ;)

seriously after watching a film in our homeroom class and seeing a woman's cervix expand to the point of almost being ripped offed a while ago, I'm grossed out :blink:

Which would be why I threatened the labor nurses with major bodily damage if they put that mirror at the end of the bed during the birth of my children. NO!! I didn't want to see it!

Right, so I had the sex education lessons, I saw the birth videos, (yes. Plural. Why plural? I have NO idea), I was traumatised for a while, I built up a sort of 'it might be worth it' attitude from years of babysitting, seeing cutsie babies, loving kids etc, etc, blah blah...

But a MIRROR? When you're giving birth to your *own* children?!

Okay, so I get that 'childbirth is beautiful', miraculous, natural, nothing to be shunned and all those jazzy things... but personally, I'm with Emmie on this one.

oddly, I'm not afraid of surgical proceedures or blood because the last time I was operated I was wide awake and talking to my surgeon (a lump had to be surgically removed in my face because it might be cancerous), the one thing that freaks me out is the fact that the cervix really looks like its being ripped offed and forced open unlike normal surgeries that are wayy neater :lol:

I remember the first birthing video I saw last year for our biology class, I wasn't grossed out, but I fell asleep because the video is so long and the teacher was beside me lol :lol:, now it was shorter and the woman giving birth is creeeeepy O_o lol
