I don't know. For one, I think it was a big mistake to go from three versions to two, and throwing Berserker in both to make "Berserk X Shinobi" and "Berserk X Dinosaur" wasn't good. Personally, I think the character design for Shinobi is much, much better than Dinosaur, and who wants to play as a character that looks so terrible? I understand that I should be more concerned with how the Dinosaur Tribe actually plays, but it's a very disappointing design in comparison to Shinobi; there's a reason why Dragon was on top and Leo was on bottom. As for Berserker, I like its design the best out of the three.

Now, as I understand, according to the Undersquare, Berserker will be included in both versions, much like BN5: Twin Leaders. If I'm correct, then what's the point of having the same version in both games? In that case, they might as well have just made three seperate versions once again, especially since the battle cards reportedly change their abilities depending on the version -- this would allow much more of a reward in connecting with your friends and trading a card with the "one man's junk, another man's treasure" thought in mind, although I have no idea how much the cards change. Another reason for three versions is the ability to fuse two Tribe-Ons together.

But enough negativity. I like how they're planning to add more mobility during battles; I found that moving across a single row could get tiring quickly, even if it did add a new layer of strategy. I also think that the slight changing of the battle cards for each version is nice, since the BN and Starforce games' versions all had the same standard chips. The ability to mix and match the three types is nifty. The announced Ultimate Form gives me mixed emotions; I'm not sure what to think about it.

Basically, the game sounds good so far, but going from three to two isn't an idea I like.

Is it out yet? If it is, I don't know anything about it, and I haven't even played the first one.

Not yet. It's coming out in November in Japan. The first just came out on the 7th (?) of this month, in America.

10th, Axel.

I guess I am looking forward to SF2, even if there aren't 3 versions. I mean, if they were planning on downgrading from 3 to 2 versions, they should have just stayed at 2 and added Dragon to each.

RockMan - August 22, 2007 09:52 PM (GMT)
Personalve that they shouldn't even do versions, and just have one game. Doesn't MegaMan StarForce sound fine by its self?

Aaron - August 22, 2007 10:15 PM (GMT)
Well SF2 looks intertesting But I think SHinobi Im gonna buy when it comes out because The Grass type is always the best in Pokemon,MMBN,and Sf i think.

Kayne Argand - August 22, 2007 10:25 PM (GMT)
StarForce, maybe, but not the other ones.

akoriuka - August 22, 2007 10:48 PM (GMT)
Well, I looking forward to the game I guess. Since it has new things taht weren't in the first like the MMBN Games, like the Star Carrier and TK City which has techoglogy to make waves into matter.

I'll be getting Dinosaur I guess, Fire is nice for me. But yeah, also the "official" North American date for MMSF 1 was August 7th like Axel said, not the tenth.

Free movement in battle would help alot more, because you could actually get closer to attack. But that might mean no Mega-Attack ability etheir, but making freer movement makes it closer to a MMBN game then MMSF 1 was, even through MMSF is the X to the Battle Network timeline.

Though SF1's fighting was way to easy.
