Title: Advertisement Help
Description: the title says it all

I've been looking at the advertisement section, and I don't think anyone is looking at it, so every now and then, could you send out a newsletter advertising the sites in that section, so people would see them? If you could do that, that would be awesome.

Don't expect Chibi-kun to pull any favors is my only word of advice.

People check it, however that doesn't mean their gonna go to those sites. It's simple knowledge.

Plus, we've never had this asked before which makes me think you just want more members yourself.

Maybe it's because people don't have enough time to think about these stuff...?
[Not to be rude or attacking anyone.]

I think that would be a great idea. Like, evrey week or so you could send a PM and tell every one about the new sites that have just been advertised.

That would actually be pretty annoying, in my opinion, and unnecessary. If people want to find new sites, then they'll check the advertisement section. If at all, we might move it closer to the top.

Yeah, I thought about that too after I posted my comment.... It would be annoying. And somewhat unnecessary.

In all honesty.....the main reason we have the Advertisements section is so people aren't advertising their sites all over the board. We're not really doing it to help out those sites. If you're trying to publicize your site via advertising, I suggest finding as many similar-themed message boards as you can and advertising there as well. Doing it on only one board won't do the trick.

Edit: And yeah, uh, people are definitely looking in there. Threads have anywhere from 30 to 160 views.

Yeah, I've had this site going for a while now, and it would be nice to have more than three people on it, wouldn't you think?Plus, it aint like I'm expecting everyone on this site to all join my site. Jeez...

All questions will be asked eventually.

The fact that you are bringing up your own website doesn't help your argument, and only makes it seem more of a way to say "JOIN MY SITE PLZ"

If people join, they join. If they don't, they don't. You could just personally ask your friends or whatever.

It's not our responsibility or obligation to advertise your site. If anything, it's a privelige that we're letting you advertise here. This thread has no more purpose.
