Title: What Sports do you guys play?

Monkey D. Luffy - October 14, 2007 04:32 AM (GMT)
If any D:

Guy Phoenix - October 14, 2007 04:43 AM (GMT)
Best sport ever, Soccer, position: Center.

Monkey D. Luffy - October 14, 2007 04:47 AM (GMT)
I used to play Soccer when I was younger. Im from Brazil which is the country that owns at Soccer.

Guy Phoenix - October 14, 2007 05:03 AM (GMT)
I'm from Russia, the country that got banned from international soccer competitions for winning too much.

Zero - October 14, 2007 05:03 AM (GMT)
EXE Warriors is my sport.

But seriously, I'm not a big sports person. I don't really enjoy playing or watching them.

Monkey D. Luffy - October 14, 2007 05:25 AM (GMT)
Lol EXEW is a sport of the mind and how fast you fingers can type. Frankly im not that good at it XD.

Mokujin - October 14, 2007 06:00 AM (GMT)
I practice the martial arts, all of which are considered sports... Not only are they fun to use, but you get to kill people with them, too...

See...? Enjoyable and practical all at the same time...

But since you all know about my martial arts, I could also mention swimming... It's not just for mexico and cuba anymore... Boricuas en la agua...

PhantomRiku - October 14, 2007 06:02 AM (GMT)
I play basketball, the greatest sport 3v4r.

Junior-Varsity Captain at my High School, I play Shooting Guard and Power Forward. Yes, an unusual combination, but I make it work. I average 18 Points, 7 Rebounds, 5 Assists, 1 Steal, 1 Block, and 2 Three Pointers a game.

I made the South Bay Invitational All-Star Game where I started as Small Forward because its what best fit my height at the game, which was 6'. I was with a bunch of black guys; I was obviously going to be one of the shorter guys on the team.

I'm also on the Drumline, which is the 3rd best in the Southwestern. I march Snare Drum. And yes; Drumline is a sport. Don't believe me? I'd like to see a jock try to do Drumline.

You have to think about so much at once. Dynamics (how soft our loud the part is), keeping your feet in time, marching technique, getting to your next spot without running anyone over, difficulty of repitoire (music difficulty), body control while doing visuals, facial expression, all these things at once on the go constantly for about 8 minutes.

Also, don't forget there's a 30 pound drum attached to you.

Now; anyone care to say that its not a sport?

Also: Martial Arts. Lots of 'em. I'll list 'em later.

Monkey D. Luffy - October 14, 2007 06:03 AM (GMT)
Ok I only got "The Water" on that last line. And yes we all know how much you like owning people with your crazy martial arts and whatnot.

SaitoHikari - October 14, 2007 06:32 AM (GMT)
Martial Arts for me...oh, badminton too...not much into sports though

Zerorush - October 14, 2007 08:29 AM (GMT)
I played soccer when I was little. Played Baseball in Junior High until I was nearly killed by a ball that flew straight into my throat =D

Saint PhantomZero - October 14, 2007 03:27 PM (GMT)
I play banning members.

........That totally counts.

I used to play Soccer when I was younger. Im from Brazil which is the country that owns at Soccer.

@ Guy: Screw Russia, you're total lier. What the quote says. And yes, Soccer is awesome.

Judging by my previous statement Soccer. I also play Basketball, Football [which, honestly, don't hate as much any more....] and Tennis.

Monkey D. Luffy - October 14, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
I'm playing Football rightnow. Im Starter LineBacker, and Starter Fullback, Kick Team, Kickoff return etc. for my school. I almost never ever leave the field >_>. Im gonna try out for basketball when it starts, though I prbably wont make a team.

Orochi Iori - October 14, 2007 07:53 PM (GMT)
My friends say I should try out for quarter back 'cause I have such a great arm....

But I want to be an Actor/Guitarist.
D=

@ M. D. L.: You'll never know until you try.

Monkey D. Luffy - October 14, 2007 08:03 PM (GMT)
Yeah thats why Im trying out anyways. Though I shoot like crap and dribble like crap im a beast at rebound. Well what if throwing helps your hands reflexes huh D: ever thought of that?

Fix'd. Thanks for the compliments, dude :3

PhantomRiku - October 14, 2007 11:09 PM (GMT)
@MDL: If you're a beast on the inside, try out for Center. Just get your ability to block up and you'll be good. Oh; and also, if you can't shoot for crap; use the glass. Its not like you'll be taking mad 3 pointers unless you're Mehmet Okur.

Every goes for those swishes, but using the glass isn't lame, its just smart, especially in your case.

Orochi Iori - October 15, 2007 12:08 AM (GMT)
@ Guy: STFU. Lies. All lies.

And what PR said.

Haha, that's good. Glad to see that you don't... which is surprising, considering who I am addressing.[/insult] :hmm:

KamikazeLord - October 16, 2007 05:49 AM (GMT)
Did Soccer and Football when I was a kid, and Marching Band Sophomore and Senior year.

Quints are not that heavy. Maybe a full set of Tenors that uses ridiculous drum sizes.

Angeal - October 17, 2007 03:34 AM (GMT)
I don't play in a league for any sport, but I play Basketball, International football (that's right), Rugby, and Volleyball for my school. Although this year I was lazy and didn't go to the Volleyball tryouts, so I didn't make the team T_T

Fu - October 22, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
I play occasionally (ok, rarely) badminton. Otherwise nil.

Considering I haven't actually gotten injured much in the past, it's not too huge a blow.

Rossebay - October 23, 2007 09:10 PM (GMT)
I play no sports... Unless with my friends.

Dred - November 1, 2007 08:19 AM (GMT)
