Title: Darker than Black

Continued from GL Thread:
There is no way that Hei is a "I LIEK JUSTICE" character. You obviously have not inferred correctly from the first five episodes, Axel.
Hei >>>>>>

That's exactly my point. :]
What I'm saying is that Hei is a manipulative character, and I don't like those kinds of protoganists. I like characters that stand for justice, and THAT is what is somewhat close-minded on my part.

| As for Darker than Black, I took a look at the first five episodes, but I didn't like it. How should I explain it? It's cliche, but I don't like manipulative, lying protoganists. |
By "it's", I mean my idea of not liking manipulative, lying protoganists.
Basically, I suppose my wording was poor, and I apologize.

Oh. Well, once you get further into the anime, you'll see that Hei starts to fight for his beliefs and his own motives. And that shouldn't really get you to not watch the anime either. >___>;

So you're saying you hate Lelouch!? Blasphemy.
DtB isn't so cliche. The story is broken off into several mini-arcs that all play into a larger theme that is constantly growing as the show progresses. The last few episodes play heavily on the viewer's mind, and the last episode especially is kinda tricky to understand unless you've been following the show closely. It's not your average anime with "lol cool battles" and "cool HEROIC protagonist!" and the like.

The guy looks like an evil Simon
And the girl reminds me of C.C. for some reason.

Did someone call for... C.C?
Feez - November 8, 2007 04:39 AM (GMT)
Lulz Amber!!1 C.C's distant relative.
I hear they're making a DtB OVA some time soon, I wonder what it's gonna be about. I kinda wanna know what happened after the end.

Once again, I didn't say DtB was cliche, I said me liking heroic protoganists was. Unless you were making a new, unrelated statement.
Wait. Who doesn't like cool battles? :/
