Okay, since I don't want to throw you two to the wolves with this, here is what you two need to do. I'm going to set a scenario, and you two are going to post to reach a number of posts that I tell you to. After that's done, I give you an update on it, and then from there, we repeat until we finish the mission. Sound simple? That's because it - for the most part - is. All this will be in both your hands. Imagine this a sandwich, I provide the bread, and you fill it up with tasty fillings. Without further ado...

Killing a Cub before it becomes a Tiger

A man sat in his chair and pondered the screen. On it, showed two custom built navis, one male with beautiful features, fairly tall, armed to the teeth with various guns. Pistols, a few shotguns, rifles, and one very long sniper rifle strapped to his back. On his face was what seemed to be war paint, complete with a predatory grin and glare from two blue eyes covered with an equally blue visor. Covering his head was a mane of well, blue hair. He wore military style camoflauge pants and vest with black underarmor only covering his torso.

Next to him was a female navi, also beautiful. Choosing to be more human looking, she wore red jean shorts, and a top that consisted of a large red piece of cloth that covered her chest. At her hips were strapped two falchions, with an additional two longswords strapped across her back in an "X" shape. War paint covered her face and in contrast to her male partner, her face was softer with kind, red eyes and a small mouth.

The man's hand moved to a mouse where he picked up a PET. Turning on the screen, he spoke to the two navis sharing a screen. Unlike the two navis on the computer screen, these were simple Normal Navis of a generic model.

"You two will inform the two navis that I've chosen for this mission, I'm going to put my trust in them. Ask them to both send an email to me titled "I am but a Volunteer." I have to stop this before it becomes big."

Having that done, he moved to his computer to do some work. Fingers flying fast, he typed out his response to their emails. Along with it, he gave them a picture of both the navis that were on his screen.

I trust only you two, yes, it may be strange, but I want you two to help me. Along with this email is a picture of the two hackers that are in ACDC. While they pose no major threat at this time, I know in my heart that they'll quickly gain power and I cannot allow that. I want you two to search ACDC for their hideout and eliminate them as quickly as possible. I'm not sending you to chase a needle in a digital haystack, though. They love attention, and therefore are situated in the ACDC Square. You two will go in at night and find a lone Program. Approach it one at a time, and say "Hello, how do you do on this fine day?" and it will tell you to leave as it is nighttime and children should not be out.

Now comes the crucial part, wait exactly seven seconds and say "It's daytime on the other side, why not let me see it?" The program will open a portal. Step through. After that, you will encounter a door that you simply push aside and enter. Then, you will battle the two of them and delete them. If you can do this, I will reward you very handsomely.

I want six posts in total; three per person. Two of which will be being found by the man's Navi, sending the email, receiving his email and meeting up with your partner. One will be your Navi talking to the program, and then entering the Hacker's Stronghold. After that, I'll make another post and you'll battle the two. Specifics about battling will be said then.

So, RP away, the two of you. The entire thing is in your hands and I look forward to six well done posts. Elec will start, then Insaniholic, then Elec, and so on. Remember, make them shine.

Akirai Ryun wandered the net as he usually did. He had still some glimmer of hope that he would find a suitable master, but it was faint, so faint that it didn't seem to exist at all. He appeared to be a wandering soul that traveled the net without purpose. It just seemed like he was existing for the sole reason of being bored or entertaining himself with whatever he pleased.

However, he wasn't such a navi, and he persued endevors that helped other navis and kept him entertained. He took the more honorable path so to speak.

And for today, he was more bored than usual. He had just completed a job for some navi, but now there were no jobs that he could accomplish by himself as the other jobs required a master.

Akirai sighed as he walked slowly around with his head looking forward, but his eyes not entirely seeing his surrounding. He saw as much as he needed to not bump into someonee, but remained looking into space as he pondered about his boredom.

After walking for a while, he heard the sound of a buster shot into the sky right behind him. "Heh, sounds like a battle going on. I wonder whether I should join." he thought for a moment, and then decided, he was bored, so why not?

He turned around and noticed that it was a single navi that was standing before him. The navi had an indignant look on his face as it seemed he was unpleased by the some long journey or something. Akirai sighed, it wasn't a battle that he could 'help' stop; he didn't want to start 'unnecessary' battles where he didn't have an excuse for starting it.

He turned back around and as he began to start off, the navi yelled out, "Oi! Don't just walk away! I've been calling you for the last minute or so!"

Akirai slowly turned about, internally surprised by the outburst, but he didn't show it so that his weaknesses weren't revealed. "Now, what do you want with me, angry navi?" he asked with a polite voice with a sarcastic accent on the last two words.

The normal navi clenched his teeth as he lowered his buster arm, "This was the navi he needed?" he thought as he stared at Akirai, who appeared weak and arrogant.

He sighed and then said his message, "My master asks you to send an email to him titled 'I am but a Volunteer.' You will find information about this mission in the response from him."

"Okay..." Akirai said as he waved his hand and opened a monitor that had his email client there. And under the surveillance of the male navi, he sent his response:

I am but a Volunteer,

Hello, mysterious client. How may I help you with your problem?

After sending it, he immediately recieved a email with the details on his mission. He read over it quickly and smiled. It sounded like a fun job except for the program. It seemed like so pointless in the mission. The two targets were just wandering around in the Square, so why not go delete them there?

He looked up, and noticed that the male navi was gone. He shrugged and them moved on to wait for night to go to the program along with his partner. Hopefully he or she wouldn't slow him down.

Remix, was happily sitting in a fruit orchard-like area of the net, where he could not be disturbed by anyone. It was his sanctuary of FRUIT!!! Strange, how he had an obsession with fruit. Navis don't require nourishment, yet he continues to eat fruit.

"Ahh, what a glorious day in the beautiful world of the Net!" He cheered. "Nothing could possibly ruin my-"
At that moment, situation irony bit him right on the butt.

A navi who he had never met ran right into the orchard, then finally stopping, to catch his breath. When he had recuperated he asked,"Hey, yous dat guy. The big man wants yous to send 'im an e-mail entitled 'I am but a Volunteer'. Yous got dat?"

Remix stared in confusion. "Say whaa?..."
The navi smacked himself. "Jus' end the e-mail."
"Oh. Okay." Remix replied.
With that said, the navi was off and away.

"Hey Ferye!" Remix yelled in attempt to get his Net-Op's attention.
"Hmm?" Ferye mumbled. Apparently, his mouth was stuffed with nachos bathed in melty cheese.
"We've got work to do."
"Um-hmm."

Ferye sent the e-mail:
I am but a Vollunteer,

Hi person. Is vollunteer with one "l" or two "l"s? Anyways, so what do you want us to do?

It was now Remix's turn to smack himself. "Ferye, volunteer is with one 'l'!!!!!"
"Oh, okay." Ferye said.

Akirai sat on a bench in the ACDC Square late at night. He was given a picture of his partner along with the instructions, so he sat still, waiting for his partner to show up as he was able to monitor the entire Square. Hopefully, his partner will also think of starting at the Square.

Akirai silently waited as time ticked by.

Remix was clueless. He had no idea what to do now. So, he headed towards the ACDC Square, to pace and think. Strange habit of his. Ferye was sound asleep, and while he was dosing off, Remix went to the square. He had a link to the Square on his Homepage, so he stepped on the panel and was instantly teleported to the ACDC Square.
"Now to pace and think." He said to himself.

Akirai noticed his partner walk around the Square looking lost.

He sighed. He then got up and tapped him on the shoulder.

"It's time to go." he said quickly and quietly and walked off to where he had perceived the program to be.

After traveling for a while, he found the program.

"Hello, how do you do on this fine day?" he started to say as he followed the instructions of the unamed job giver.

Remix simply followed the navi who was supposedly his partner in this mission.

"I have no clue what I'm doin', but that never stopped me before." He thought to himself.

Remix just stood there.

The program looked like the standard green floating legless female program that gravitated on a pogo stick. Except this one's face was...affixed in a ">:D" shape; giving it a decidedly more crazed/creepy look. It sat there awhile until Akirai Ryun approached it. It simply hovered as he gave the code it was accustomed to for who knows exactly how long.

A second passed by before it spoke back to Akirai in a clear, peppy voice. "It's nighttime, children shouldn't be out this late. Shoo, shoo! I said beat it!" It's face spun around and around and the ">:D" face rearranged itself in a "D:<" shape, which made it look...well, angry.

Inside of it's programming, it prepared to reveal the portal that would lead the password giver to their destination; Alpha Strong, the hidden digital forttress. Well, it was more of a bunker, but forttress sounded more professional than bunker.

Time passed before Akirai entered the stronghold before his partner, Remix only to be greeted by a very irate male navi and his calm female partner. Except only the male navi looked different.

The male navi's features were the same, except his weaponry was different. He had less of everything, save for two pairs of pistols, a bandolier of grenades, and a large, dangerous looking rocket launcher with a large serrated bayonet attached to it. His hair was also modified to reach his shoulders.

The male navi crossed his arms and stared at Akirai like a hawk would stare at it's prey.

"Hello there, little rabbit. What are you doing here? Wait, don't tell me. You were sent by nobody in particular to infiltrate, and eliminate us. And you thought you could catch us by surprise by entering our front door. Well, obviously you failed. Want to know why? The program has a face camera for surveillance purposes and has access to an alarm to alert us whenever anybody - even us - uses it. Since Selene and I are in here already, we knew you were an assassin coming for us. Oh, and your friend, too."

The female navi stepped forward and drew both her falchions with the one in her left hand held in a reverse grip. She spoke with a flat, emotionless tone in contrast to her partner's bright, sunny, sarcastic, and lively tone. "We're done with the banter, now, I'm going to have to take care of you the hard way. Helios can take care of your partner when he gets in."

Selene, the female navi, launched herself at Akirai and attacked him brutally, but gracefully, treating her fight with him as something like a dance. Any move he threw at her was fluidly and stylishly dodged or blocked. She wasted minimal effort attacking, and aimed for vital areas to end the battle quicker.

Helios, the male navi, stood by impatiently and waited for Remix to appear. When he did, Helios favored keeping his distance with his pistols, each shot aimed at his opponent's limbs to disable so that he'd have an infinitely easier time to take out Elijah, his rocket launcher, and use it to explode the hell out of his opponent.

It was on, baby.

And outside, on the real world, Remix was stuck until he could get past the program, which he should know how to do.

Alright, this is simple. Two posts from both of you. One post where you're fighting, and beating your designated opponent into the ground, or you could get creative on this. Do whatever you want. Just beat them into the ground.

After that, make a mental, or typey note into your profile that you and [the other person's navi] have done a mission together and are fairly buddy buddy. Because the both of you took down some enemies together like the team that you are. It MIGHT come in handy at some point.

Akirai laughed at the man's taunts. This rabbit will turn out to be a dragon he thought as he saw the female navi bring out her weapons and readied herself to fight. She then chose him as her opponent. And after testing her skills with some close combat fighting, he saw her style of fighting. He saw that she was able to nibly dodge every attack he threw at her and noticed that she always tried to finish the battle in one quick and deadly stroke.

"Nice job, fighter. Nice that you have provided such a challenge for me with hand-to-hand combat. I congrajulate you." Akirai said as he jumped back from the fighting area to disengage from battle and prepare for his real fighting method.

"Enjoy this, little lady." he smirked as he jumped into the air while his opponent was refocusing her attention on Akirai from his abrupt retreat from before. As he performed a back flip, the green orb on his back began to glow brightly from it's dull state, shining right through his clothing. And the moment he finished his spin, energy burst out of it like water rushing from a broken dam. The energy went down and then spiraled around Akirai once and then curved around until it landed right underneath Akirai's legs. After it finished it's motion, the energy seemed to materialize into the shape of an oriental dragon made out of sturdy, flexible, flowing wood.

Akirai landed on the dragon and stared directly at his opponent, who despite her initial cool outlook upon her fighting was stunned at Akirai's ability to produce such a large monster with such ease, from his position high above many of the surrounding objects, in a place where you could see around for miles.

But, the dragon didn't remain for long as it had dug right into the ground leaving Akirai back on level earth with the dragon somewhere beneath them, ready to attack at his master's command.

The female navi recovered from the shock quickly and focused her attention back on Akirai, who was now tired out from summoning Mu, the Wood Dragon. And even though it wasn't entirely visible on the outside, she knew that fatigue had settled in Akirai, even if it was just a bit.

Akirai saw the fierceness return to his opponents eyes and acutely felt his strength, or lack of strength. He sighed, I'll just have to hold out until he's ready. And underneath them, Mu was storing up energy, gathering the required materials from the ground to make his attack.

And right after he finished his thought, the female navi dashed towards him. But he was ready and tried to dodge them, but the inevitable cut in his clothing foreshadowed a much more dagerous wound.

And after a couple of minutes of dodging her attacks, he felt it. Mu was ready. And at that moment, he dodged his opponents frontal attack and put her into a lock that held her arms in place and immobilized the wrists, but the lock wouldn't last long with such a martial artists as the female navi. It was now a do or die situation for him.

"Now! Mu, Come and spread the curse of life!" Akirai shouted as the ground shook with Mu tearing through the earth to reach the surface and perform his attack. And soon after Akirai said his little unnecessary chant, Mu broke through the surface and rose out with a thick brown gas spewing out of the hole, shrouding the entire area in a thick fog.

Mu pierced right through the fog and spiraled around with the thick poisionous gas spewing from his mouth. Mu finally rounded about and dashed straight for Akirai and the female navi. Meanwhile, the female broke out of Akirai's lock and had given him a large gash on his back before he had a chance to jump away.

And as he struggled to stand back up from falling on the ground, Mu finally launched his attack. Mu closed his mouth for a moment and sent energy into it, swirling the gas that he had produced before and a moment later, he opened his mouth and the energy exploded into action in a form of a large wave of gas that passed over the ground and covered everything. Soon, the fog covered the female navi and Akirai.

"Die." Akirai said as he got up, and slowly moved towards the female navi, who was by now paralyzed and couldn't move an inch on her own. After he reached her, Akirai unwrapped the fachion from her right hand and handled it in his right hand; he then promptly stabbed her repeatedly in several vital areas. When he finished his deed, he threw the falchion to the side and walked away as the female navi slowly disinegrated into data as she became deleted.

After the navi was completely gone, Mu reentered the green orb while dragging the gas with it. After Mu and the gas completely entered the orb, the wound of Akirai's back healed itself. Akirai then sat down and waited for his partner to finish up what he had to do.

Remix stood there dazed, until it hit him like a...really big rock, yup. A rock. So anyways, Remix finally said, "It's daytime on the other side, why not let me see it?"

Remix awaited to pass through.
