[KKL gave me permission to add actions to his characters. The victorious pair are Izumi and Quickman]
Upon entering the shop, Seiobo knew that she was going to be a while. She never had a way with electronic things that required batteries or wires to operate; how the hell she was supposed to know what would be compatible with her 'present'? She had seen the store on her way to school every day, noticing that it was usually crowded on the weekends and seemed to be a good place on figuring out just what the hell she was supposed to do. Or maybe she could just sell her PET and Navi, collect the money, and get something that didn't nag her so much.
She came after school, still wearing her uniform and trying to look like she blended in and knew what she was trying to find. Her bleach blonde hair was tied back in to a bun and she was wearing her black-rimmed reading glasses so she could see the labels and directions on the merchandise. Everything was shelved neatly and into sections, though she was still unsure of what everything was and the purpose behind them. Carefully she would take something down, look it over, then return it with an irritated frown.
”Seiobo, maybe you should ask for some assistance?”
Seiobo let out an exasperated sigh as she took out her PET from her school bag, eyes narrowed skeptically on Angel's small and worried smile. The two didn't know or expect much of each other. Well, she didn't expect much from Angel. Angel, however, seemed to expect a crap load of things that just pissed Seiobo off. Like now, it seemed as if the Navi wanted her to make an idiot of herself.
“I'm fine on my own.”
The sigh that Angel gave her just pissed her off even more and it showed. But she did keep her PET in her left hand just in case she buckled down and had to ask Angel a question or just needed someone to verbally abuse if it turned out she was wasting her time. After fifteen minutes of searching aimlessly she heard a kid shouting something behind her. She turned from the rows of manuals she was looking at to see two guys, one looking rather pissed off and sick while the other seemed calm, maybe even bored. They were staring at something on a table, but she couldn't see with a crowd of other boys surrounding them. She managed to push through to the front, her eyes going wide as they took in the scene of the battle – or rather the remnants of it – projected on the table. The kid who had been shouting had just gotten destroyed by his opponent.
Both the boy with the smug look and his Navi will turn to the crowd each was facing, simultaneously asking “Who's next?” with a daring glint in their eyes. Many operators and Navis would mumble and look to their neighbors (except Angel, who had watched the fight calmly, and with a slight concerned expression because she did feel sympathy for the Navi that lost). Seiobo jokingly pointed to the table, grinning.
“Want to take a go at kicking their ass?”
Her grin widened as she watched Angel's expression shift into that of humble irritation. Yet Angel was ever the polite Navi, shaking her head and rubbing her temples as if she had a head ache.
”No thank you...”

Izumi pointed at the kid he just wiped the floor with. "Hey, you. Mind getting off the seat?" The kid mumbled about something under his breath having to do with his foot and the victor's face. Ignoring him, Izumi turned to the blond girl who challenged him and waved hello.
"Hey! You look like a new face here." Izumi grinned a grin to match the girl "One of the rules here is that new people gotta fight at least once. Don't worry too much though, everyone has to follow it and nobody here has gone without a loss. Well, except me, of course."
Izumi put on a mock pompous face, complete with pompous grin and leaned back in his chair. He quickly snapped off his goofy expression and motioned for Sieobo to sit at the chair. Around him, some people were mumbling about how cocky Izumi could be.
Which wasn't far from the truth, but what can you do?
In the net, QuickMan facepalmed himself when Izumi started his goofy pompous face. He couldn't pull one off even if he had the chance to win a million dollars. The crimson armored navi stood around and waited for his next opponent.

”You...he...this is going to be humiliating.”
Seiobo didn't want to admit it, but Angel was correct: the two were about to be used as mops while their opponents wiped the floor with them. She had gotten Angel a few weeks ago. As in, less then a month. With barely any experience on what Angel was even made for. And now she was being expected to partake in a net battle? She blanched as she was called onto the floor. Her blue eyes were wide, her glasses nearly slipping to the tip of her nose comically as she watched him be a cocky little bastard and invite her to get her ass kicked. She could hear Angel's voice though her attention wasn't on her PET.
“Please, Seiobo, just say...”
“Piss off.”
With a disgruntled look and a turn of her shoulder she now had her back to him, walking away from the table and trying to get through the crowd to exit the store. She had enough of toy technology for one day and didn't want to make too much of a fool of herself. Besides, Angel's critiques were starting to get to her.
“Not QUITE the way I would have put it...I'm sorry about that.”
Angel gave Quickman an apologetic smile and a bow of her head before she too started to walk away from the crowd, knowing her PET would disconnect with the wireless connection once her operator walked to the store's front door. Maybe another day they would be strong enough to compete with them, but for now, Angel didn't want to participate in any needless battles.

The voice in Izumi's head told him that baiting her would be the worst idea to do, not because he was going to get floored, the notion of that is ridiculous; it was because it was the right thing to do and it would be nothing short of childish to call her out. Unfortunately...
Izumi squished the voice in his head in favor of doing exactly what it was trying to prevent.
"I bet you're just scared." Izumi said, with the same grin on his face. "Definately come back another day though, if you're feeling courageous!"
QuickMan slapped his face again. Why wouldn't Izumi ever listen? He always did this and it was frankly annoying. But then QuickMan remembered that he'd done this so many tims before, too.

Jack Wolfedge was merely staring at the sky when his navi, Fladraman, shouted at him.
"Hey, Jack! Lemme fight that Quickman guy. I wanna see how well I do against him."
Jack's mind went back to reality. He then made a big sigh. "Fine, fine."
Jack knew that he would most likely lose against Izumi and Quickman, that's why he's been reluctant to fight him from the start. But he's always had this urge to battle them, and it grew stronger as each day passes. But now, he couldn't take it anymore; it was time to show them what he and Fladraman are made of. His eyes became serious and approached his opponent.
"Here we go, buddy. Jack in! Fladraman, transmission!"
