On a regular day, with ANBU about, common Chuunin stood alone in random locations on their day off.

Marco, at the time, was asleep.

Marco. Marco. MARCO!

Snapping awake, he looked up at Kuro. Brushing his blue hair out of his eyes, he looked down at the shougi board, now a scattered mess.

"Sorry, Kuro. Replay?"

"Fifth one in the last half hour. Fine." said Kuro, resetting the board. Abov ehtem, suspended from the ceiling was a black-clad shinobi, wearing a peculiar white mask. Eying the board meticulously, he slowly sharpened a purest-white dagger.

Several passerbys ignored the three, not even noticing the one on the ceiling.

Slowly, a man wearing a brown traveling cloak made his way over to the two. Marco looked up first, after having demolished the board in his sleep. "Hello there, sir. Care for a game of-" he tried to say, before hitting the board with a crunch. Waking up a second later with various cuts from the pieces he said again, "Hello there, sir. Care for a game of-"CRUNCH.

"Uh..." Kuro began, then turned to the man. He was old, and ha s along beard trailing to his waist. "Well, as my friend tried to say, care for a game of shougi?"

"All I care is for my money to be returned. You two ninja fulfilled my mission with minimal success."

"We never promised success. We promised our best. But we were up against Taigo of the Wind."

Kuha was walking on a loooooooong path. It was through a deep forest.

"How much longer until we get there Xiao-sensei?"Kuha asked. He groaned and moaned about how long it was.

"Oh come on Kuha. You should be excited right now. I taught you my Flying Dagger Technique. That's what got me into the Swordsmen of the Mist. So shut up!"Xiao answered

"Fine then sensei. Hold on though. Some ninjas are coming."Kuha said. He began making quick handseals.

"Sword Summoning: Fuuin no Tsurugi!"he whispered. He then clapped his hands together, and when they pulled apart his sword was in his hands. It was a long zanbato. It took months of training to even lift it. Along both sides were the reason it was named as such. There were 5 big seals on each side.

Xiao reached behind his back and drew Adahemas. He looked around for the intruders.

"Don't waste much strength Kuha. I'll handle most of it. It's probably some Leaf ANBU looking for intruders. They should be on high security after what the Sound did."Xiao whispered.

"Hah, Taigo, he's nothing. I beat him in my youth, when we demolished our enemies."

"If that's true, then why was he still alive?" asked Marco.

The cloaked man drew a long blade, and pointed it at Marco. "Because he was my brother."

"Oh," said Kuro, slowly standing up, "then you would be Xago of the Wind..." with a near impossible to see handseal, he slowly uncorked his jar on his waist. Pulling his hand back, he withdrew a long strand of sand. Pressing his other hand around it, hie sloly make crackles audible from within his hand. After quickly running his hand down it, what was before them was a perfectly carved glass dagger.

"So you hired a mercenary team on your own brother...that's just cruel...Right, Baaku?" he said, looking at the large shuriken on his back. Grabbing the crystal dagger, he pointed it at Xago. "You don't want to start a fight here. We're the best in our league of Chuunin."

"Not good enough to beat Taigo, it seems." the old man declared.

"Well, we never said that we didn't win. We said we did our best." said Kuro, as Marco pulled something from under the table. Hanging by his black-grey hair was another old man, with no lower body below his neck.

"You beheaded my brother?! DIE!" shouted Xago, and aimed at Marco. Marco ducked, his headband catching most of the blow. With a yawn, he said, "Uup. Better set it up..." Making the Tiger seal, Marco fell asleep.

A leaf ANBU jumped out of the trees. He drew a then sword from behind his back. In a flash however, he was on the ground dead. What had happened was that Kuha knocked his blade away and Xiao finished him.

"For an ANBU, that was pretty easy."Kuha said.

"It wasn't an ANBU. It was a Chuunin playing dress up. Well, welcome to Konohagakure."Xiao said.

Lying motionless, the boy thought to himself, Okay, so they're Mist Ninja, one of them is a Swordsmaster, the other...a novice? And they weren't fooled by my disguise...Ah well, its used to scare lesser ninja...Now, before they realize I'm alive, I better activate the Blood Sealing Scroll... Motionlessly drawing a scroll, the boy used it to seal all his injuries and replace his lost blood.

"Hey you. I'm not a regular Jounin. I'm a step up, and I know you're not dead. Kuha, I'm going to head to Konohagakure and finish our business. You stay here. Don't use the Flying Dagger if you don't have to. Yours is imperfect."Xiao said calmly. He began to walk away leaving Kuha dumbfounded. He stared in disbelief, so he sat down.

"There's no way that guy is alive. This must be a test."Kuha said to himself.

"The boy, Uru, laid there, then slowly got to his feet, admiring the look of surprise on Kuha's face. Uru made the perfect face(=_=) and said, "What?"

"Oh jeez! I thought Xiao-sensei was kidding."Kuha said. He bolted up and drew his sword. "I guess I'll have to finish what was started."he said

With a swift motion, Uru drew a kunai and cut his arm. Blood slowly dribbled down to the ground, making a small puddle. Forming 5 handseals, the blood began to grow and take the form of a second Uru.

"This is my Blood Clone Jutsu..." said Uru, echoed by his clone.

"Not bad. I guess I'll just have to kill you all."Kuha said. He charged at both Uru and his clone.

"Not likely..." said the clone, shortly after being slashed and regenerating.

"What the...?" Xago yelled, meanwhile, now trapped in a sleep genjutsu.
Kuro stood watching, with his shuriken spinning around his hand. "You're caught, Xago. He's used his Sleep Inducer. You suffer whatever he does. Get it?"

"Kuha should've been here by now. Well, I guess I'll just handle what I have to do in Konoha. If Yondaime Mizukage wants a conference with Godaime Hokage he'll get it. I just need to locate the current Hokage."Xiao said to himself. He had arrived at the gates of Konoha.

"Not a problem. Now I know who's the real one. Seal 1, go!"Kuha shouted. One of the seals on each side of his sword began to glow. Then, he rushed at the Uru opposite the one he just slashed.

Watching Kuha and Uru from a nearby tree, melted into it, was a shadowy teen, whose skin was tattooed with black fragments. Smiling maliciously, he contacted his superior, informing him of the ultimate chakra.

"Seal 1?" said the Uru clone. "Look out, real guy!"

Uru turned and pulled out the previously pulled katana, now bloodred, to block the attack.

"That won't help you much. Dance of the Shark!"Kuha yelled. He began to slash at Uru in a zigzag shape similar to the teeth of a shark.

Blocking almost every attempt, Uru stopped to notice a small cut on his arm. Waving his sword wildly, he attacked Kuha, while the clone slid behind.

"Okay, you're starting to tick me off. Kirigakure no Jutsu."Kuha said as a dense mist swept the field. He then disappeared in the mist.

"Mist eh...?" muttered Uru while cutting his arm. "Maybe I'll just use that jutsu to save time...
Feeling another cut on his back, he turned to find nothing. "Damnit..."

"You won't survive this. I'll be nice though. I have a meeting in Konohagakure with my sensei and the Hokage. I'll have to see ya later. Bye........"Kuha said. His voice seemed to come from every direction. As he left the mist began to clear up.

Looking around at nothing, Uru sighed. "I never got to use it...Ah well. Blood Sealing Technique!" Uru's cuts began to clear up as the blood was dragged back in.

"He's so lucky I let Xiao-sensei do all of the killing. Now, where's that Hokage building?"Kuha said to himself. He was at the gates of Konoha where Xiao stood a while ago.

"This better be worth it."Xiao muttered. He knocked on the door of the Hokage Mansion loudly.

Staring down at a defeated Xago, Marco looked around and asked, "Did it work?"

"Yep, Marco, it did. Now, Xago..." said Kuro, reattaching his shuriken to his back, "We're gonna need you to leave and return to your Grass Village, now, before our other friend arrives."

(Bump?)

Xago fled, leaving a trail of dust, from which entered Uru, brandishing a lookalike of the Adahemas. "Hey, Kuro, seen anything that resembles this lately?"

Tsunade greeted the entering Xiao, offering him some sake. "So, what exactly was the business you came here for?"

"Well....."Xiao started.

"The Mizukage would like to request a meeting with you. It seems we have a problem down in the Water Country."Kuha finished. He burst into the room.

"Sorry I'm late Xiao-sensei. That ninja I faced before gave me some problems."Kuha said.

"Never interrupt me again, and it's alright."Xiao said. They both looked at Tsunade for a reply.

"Well, as always, I must request I first know WHAT the meeting concerns, gentlemen...?" Tsunade answered, pouring herself a shot of sake.

"The Mizukage would like to request a meeting with you. He needs to speak with you about some dangerous matters. He wants safe passage into the village to speak with you. Even we're not sure of what it concerns. You'll have to speak directly to Yondaime Mizukage to know that."Xiao said. His tone was very robotic.
