Why not, we (megaman community, in entire world), try make a NetNavi program, with a humanoid program, like Megaman? At least, we have more than 100.000 members in all world... It's a dream, but we can make him, with help we can do build this program...

Because it would be nearly impossible. And if anyone were to even attempt at making a functional AI, there's infinitely better things to do than to make the Blue Bomber.

If it was possible to make such sophisticated AI at this point in time, it would already be done.

^Like steal the specs for the super armors the government's creating

Well, of course, the Internet has been created, but it will be a few more centuries before we get the power to send a functional AI to the internet. You're better off taking one of Honda's exoskeletons and attaching a plasma gun and covering it up with various shades of blue spray paint.

I don't want make a perfect AI. I just want one a bit more better than the present in certain games... They are "simple" to make...

Zerorush - December 30, 2007 07:53 PM (GMT)
I don't think you realize just how difficult it is to even make basic functioning AI.

Even trying to perfect a simple AI program that follows instructions (say as in a squad based shooter game where your supposed to give your team members commands) is such a difficult task for professional developers that even the thought of creating a program that at the very least mimics intelligence is impossible with current technology.

DragoonMan - January 1, 2008 01:15 AM (GMT)
The AI script not are so complex how you think: the Civ 4 Ai is extremely good, but not are so big. I think it's possible make a good AI, without make a university or similar things...

Zero - January 1, 2008 09:08 AM (GMT)
Write me a program that can intelligently play Tic-Tac-Toe and then we'll talk.

ElecNinja - January 1, 2008 09:12 AM (GMT)
And mention how EASY that was.
=D

DragoonMan - January 1, 2008 03:56 PM (GMT)
:o What is tic-tac-toe?

Tennet - January 1, 2008 04:34 PM (GMT)
good luck with making an intelligent AI then....

YOUNG GIMMY - January 1, 2008 10:34 PM (GMT)
Hell, make me an AI that can give me a single sentence in English and we'll talk.

Don't necropost.

Especially if it's a useless comment and a useless thread.

It's a joke. Learn to deal with those. Anyways, no offense to anyone, but this is essentially a useless post, 'cuz it's not like a bunch of Megaman fans are actually gonna make a Navi A.I. Leave that up to the government as part of some new military plan (that's where all the good ideas go).

Doesn't change the fact that you necroposted. :hmm:

Refrain from doing so in the future.
