Title: OH GOD THE LAWLZ
Description: KKL vs The Mail Sorter
Tanis Saidur - January 25, 2008 01:43 AM (GMT)
First off, I'd like to clarify this was an ACCIDENT. KKL is not at fault. No one was hurt (Well, except the Mail Sorter).
So, get this: I borrowed a PS2 from a friend awhile ago, but alas, I had no PS2 Memory card. KKL, being the kind and generous man he is, bought me one and mailed it to me. However, to the dismay of the mail sorter in my area's post office, KKL sent the Mem card in a plain envelope. Somewhere along it's journey, the poor card was jammed in the mail sorter, causing it to bind up and catch on fire. Luckily, due to the letter's weight, it was the last one in the bunch so no one else's mail was destroyed. However, the $2000 Mail sorter did not get so lucky. Half the inside was melted beyond repair. But, like all pieces of plastic made by Sony, the mem card itself was undamaged.
I just thought this story was too funny to go untold. I have the actual envelope here. It's trashed, taped together by the post office, has burn skid marks on it from where it jammed, and smells faintly of smoke. :D
KKL, you are indeed one in a million. Thanks for the card, Man.

That... Is awesome...
I wonder if that's even a memory card, not a decoy that works like a memory card that will eventually brick the PS2...

Taiki Kebin - January 28, 2008 09:01 PM (GMT)
i'll send someone a lighter...
Darento - February 8, 2008 05:14 AM (GMT)
I'm highly tempted to try that now....just send it to a random address, and put no return address.

Now that's just mean. Then your forcing whoever receives it to pay for the damages.
