Am considering picking this up or possibly pre-ordering it to get that nifty Shinra case. Will have to figure out if I play Ninja Gaiden :ph43r: or this when I get it. :slowpoke:

This game is why I'm re-getting a PSP. Maybe I won't have to stab a sword through this one. And if I do, I will use ALL my swords, not just one. And then mount it to a wall, throw shuriken and shit at it, then burn it, then...*rambles*

Don't know if I'm allowed to post here again... but... since this place seems to be full of Brawl people I thought I'd bring this thread up again. The game is awesome. I'm at the *TINY SPOILER* Genesis fight, and I decided to rest on my PC a little bit. I'm trying to get all the boss materia and Bahamut is pretty hard on Bahamut Rematch level =)

As soon as I get my hands on CFW, I'll get it. Does the gameplay have combos? Every damn gameplay video I see has Zack making one slash, then just running around.

I'm already at Sephiroth, and I decided to rest since holy poop is he strong. It's actually pretty good, doesn't feel like it's just "slice once then run" you can attack for a while with your sword then switch to a different attack. I hardly ever use magic and always use things that take up AP instead (like Jump and Vital Attack). It's pretty great. You kinda have to realize when it's time to stop attacking, because the enemy will no doubt pull of an attack sooner or later. One thing I do hate is that the block attack is almost useless, there isn't much time to press Triangle in time to stop an attack, the same with Barrier. Evade/Square is much better, since you can stop in the middle of a spell or attack and roll away.

Might just rent it through gamefly to check it out, if even that. I'm tired of all the whoring out Square has been doing with VII. I've been losing my faith in the entire series altogether lately actually, haven't thoroughly enjoyed a Final Fantasy game since ten =(

I totally believe it's worth the money. Final Fantasy is, more often than not, worth the cash it costs.

Well ya see the problem with DoC was the "shooter+Squeanix" part. I don't really see a lot of "whoring" out that has been going on in the canon, I mean it's just Dirge, Before Crisis, Crisis Core and AC, oh and Last Order, if that counts. But if you mean the stuff like the "Potion" drink, I guess you're right. But I don't see how a true fan gets a can of coke that has a picture of Yuffie or Sephiroth on it =(

Yet I am shamed; if they sold that in US, I would buy a can of each like super duper fast. As long as they don't cost like $10 or something =)
