Well, as I mentioned, I'm restarting the RP. That's right, a fresh start. Same ground rules as the old one, but I'll post them here, just in case anyone forgot.

-Original Cursed Fruit powers are allowed.
-Cursed Fruit powers that haven't appeared in the English Dub not allowed. For example, your character can have eaten a Gum Gum or Chop Chop Fruit, but not Sabi Sabi no Mi (or as I'm calling it for now, Rust Rust Fruit).
-Not everyone can have a Cursed Fruit Power. Some people have to be swordsmen or thieves, or something. No more than three Cursed Fruit users to a crew, with ten people to a crew altogether.
-All characters with a Cursed Fruit power MUST have some sort of weakness.
-And above all, NO GODMODING!!!

With that, I'll create my character and we'll get something started:
Name: Captain Stone Jean (Pronounced "John")
Age: 17
Description: Captain Stone Jean is about 5'10", and well built. He has short, dusty blonde hair and blue eyes. He wears a light blue jacket with a black shirt, blue pants, black boots, white socks, gray fingerless gloves, and a blood red sash around his waist.
Personality: Jean is not a patient man, but he has a good heart, and does not seek out fights. However, if he is challenged, he will accept.

Cursed Fruit: Gem Gem Fruit

Abilities: The Gem Gem Fruit allows Jean to create gemstone at will to attack or defend. He can also make his body as hard as he wants at any given time. However, this ability renders him immoblie for as long as he uses it.

Attacks:
Gemstone Smash- Jean encases his fist in gemstone and punches the enemy.

Gemstone Tower: Jean places his palm on the ground, and a tower of crystal stalacites (or stalagmites, whichever one comes up from the ground) rises up to cause damage. He can use this ability on any flat surface.

Gemstone Scope- Gemstone forms around his right eye, giving him telescopic abilities. He can also focus his attacks by closing his left eye.

Gemstone Sniper- Jean points his index finger and fires shards of gemstone at the enemy. Meant mostly for sniping purposes and can only be used with Gemstone Scope.

Name: Tsumari Mokujin (Eastern Order. Mokujin is his given name.)
Age: 19
Description: Contrary to his personality, Mokujin’s appearance is epitome of masculine beauty. Long, silver hair flows down his back, elegantly falling to his waistline, his long bangs falling beneath his chin, often calling the need to brush them aside to keep from hiding his azure eyes. His clothing is an oddity for any world, consisting of a traditional gi and hakama, each altered to fit his appearance more effectively. The sleeves of the gi are cut to his elbows, to keep them from hindering his combat skills, and the front himo of his hakama are left untucked, a symbol of a loner in the tradition of the samurai. His physical build is definitely a fit one, though he is stronger than his appearance lets on, definitely more than your average teenager.

A cold, callous figure, Mokujin’s presence alone brings about the deepest definition of hopelessness and despair. Rarely does he speak, his corrosive voice always dark, filling the air with a cold, hollow, heart-wrenching tone. Expressive of no emotion, he is a true loner; one of which the likes of no one has ever seen.

Background: Born on a common island, Mokujin's childhood should have been a normal one. But inborn rebelliousness caused this boy to stray away from the world around him, wandering into the unknown in his youth. As a result, Mokujin's perspective of the world is broad in nature; he bases his beliefs on more variables than comprehensible, making him an incredibly difficult person to understand. During one of his escapades, he came across the Yuri Yuri no Mi; the first, and last fruit he had ever eaten.

In time he grew, and left his sullen island for a world of adventure, in hopes of discovering new and interesting things, in testing the strength of others as well as his own. Thus, he became a mercenary, choosing to take only the most difficult, daring of jobs to prove his strength to himself and the world around him.

Cursed Fruit: Yuri Yuri no Mi (Vibrate Vibrate Fruit). Paramecia type.

Abilities: Mokujin ate the Yuri Yuri no Mi as a child, and as such, acquired the ability to interpret vibrations into actions to such a degree that it became linked with his muscle memory. This, in turn, made him into a prodigy of the martial arts, allowing him to predict most everything that his opponents did before they themselves could even complete the thought. As a result, Mokujin is a very capable martial artist, of the highest tier, possessing a tremendous degree of strength, speed, and agility.

As he grew, his understanding of the ability grew as well. He learned to create vibrations of various degrees and frequencies, allowing him to perform various daring feats to complement his abilities as a martial artist.

Attacks/Techniques:

Tooi Kyo (Far Cry)- Mokujin's blows are often a normal, routine set of punches and kicks, each heavily damaging in its own right. However, at times he will bring the use of his Devil Fruit into the fray. The moment a blow that Mokujin strikes with connects, many vibrations are created in the opponent's body. Instantaneously, Mokujin amplifies these vibrations to insane degrees (imagine the force of an entire earthquake condensed into a human body). This results in the opponent being launched a great distance, and is said to make the toughest of men cry; hence the name.

Kirei Hashi (Clean Edge)- Mokujin vibrations often extend themselves into the world of swordsmanship; something he is, admittedly, addicted to. As a result, he has created a sword that, thus far, can cut through anything. This is done through the act of vibrating the sword's blade at extremely high frequencies. The vibrating of the sword's molecules cause it to literally tear objects apart at a molecular level, cleaving through them with relative ease, and thus making it an incredibly deadly force in the world of swordsmanship.

Kaze Shouyo(Wind Walk)- The inability to swim can be a serious problem for anyone who travels by sea, and as a result, Mokujin developed this technique. By making strong vibrations in small parts of the air, Mokujin can step on it, allowing him to walk upon the air and avoid water altogether.

Yeah, uh, I think you're a bit overpowered, Mokujin. I mean, being able to predict an opponent's moves? That's like, godmoding, man! And I don't see any visible weaknesses other than the inability to swim.

Believe me, it's more limited than you think. Think of it as the equivalent of Lucci's Kami-e. There are plenty of weaknesses to this ability, I might add. Of course none of them are visible; why would they be? None of the other fruits' weaknesses are apparent, at first.

Very few would have considered moisture as a way to beat Crocodile. Luffy was the ONLY one who could fight Enel by actually being composed of his weakness; nothing apparent there. It'd doubtful that Ace has much of a weakness beyond water, but then, little has been revealed of him.

Nothing is supposed to be apparent, and God Modding is of little interest to me. This character has his limits, I assure you; I just choose not to make them clear from the get go.

Well, I guess I could work you in as a rival. I mean, you'd probably be the only one to fight on equal terms with Jean, given that you could vibrate his molecules, effectively negating his impenetrability, sending him flying or even cutting off an arm.

Name: Jet "Quicksilver" Hawk
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality: Calm, quiet, and secretive. All the qualities of most in his "profession". Jet is a thief.
Cursed Fruit: Hayai Hayai no Mi(Fast Fast Fruit)

Biography: At age 7 Jet swallowed a Cursed Fruit. He gained the ability to run at very high speeds. Speeds that can surpass Mach 1. This speed makes Jet almost invulnerable. This ability however caused him to be hated by many of the villagers. They began to mistrust him whenever something happened that they couldn't explain. If anything zoomed by them, or they saw a trick of the light it was blamed on Jet.

Fastforward about 12 years later, and Jet has turned to crime. He dubbed himself Quicksilver and became a theif. Nobody remembers his true name, and he rarely gives it away. Jet's parents are living, and looking for him but there are no leads. As of now Jet is aboard the pirate ship captained by Stone Jean.

Attacks:

Quicksilver- Jet's most powerful move. The move that he named after his nickname involves his only weapon. It is a short dagger and in the blink of an eye he throws it at an opponent stabbing them right between the eyes. He uses this for quick kills.


Multiple Hallucination- By moving very quickly Jet makes it seem as though there are many clones of him. He then throws his 1 dagger, but it looks and feels like 20.

Speed Illusions- Jet can use his speed to make "clones" of himself.

Invulnerability- Jet can use his speed to vibrate in place to dodge attacks. Only another vibration can disrupt this ability. Jet prefers not to use it much though, as it destabilizes his cells.
