Title: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
Junpei Iori - February 21, 2008 10:23 PM (GMT)
The game's amazing, I got it yesterday, First case is so epic...
FriendlyFire - February 21, 2008 10:32 PM (GMT)
But they got rid of Phoenix Wright...
Rayo Mizukashi - February 21, 2008 10:56 PM (GMT)
Isn't Apollo supposed to be like a descendant of Phoenix?
Junpei Iori - February 22, 2008 12:02 AM (GMT)
FriendlyFire: Phoenix is still a pretty major character, and they only made him more amazing.
Sero: Wtf no. Get out now. and this game takes place.. seven years later. x_x I wouldn't think it's possible to get a descendant in that time?
Apollo is just another lawyer, that's all.

I never saw what people liked in this game? What is it about? Don't say you're some lawyers who screams Objection give me specifics like gameplay. I don't want another book-ish thing like Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel, I payed $25 on eBay for it and I've only seen it ONCE.

Uh, what else would you expect from a law-based game? x-X
Basically, you are a defense attorney and you go through five cases (four cases in game 2), trying to get all of your clients acquitted of all charges. You listen to testimonies and try to figure out what's a lie, or press them for more information.
The game is pretty epic, and I think the localization team did an amazing job and making hilarious scenes. Also, inbetween trial days, you investigate places and all. And, uh. Why are you getting Apollo Justice before Phoenix Wright? >_>;
Phoenix Wright Trilogy comes before Apollo Justice.

Well as long as the stories aren't intertwining (as in, for example Game Blue (Phoenix) has the story of some guy who kills his father then in Game Red (Apollo) you find out it was his uncle).
And I didn't ask about the story I said gameplay wise. How do I as the player figure this stuff out?

Epic double post.
And it's not illegal if I PAYED for it.
It'd be illegal if I emulated. Might want to look into what an R4 is. And how you get games on an R4.

Well I did and when I did I saw that there was a way to illegally use it. I just assumed that since you mentioned it out of its original context (IE a regular game) and instead as R4 that you had done something else. My apologies :thizz:

Beat the game a couple of days ago, and I got the soundtrack.

Just started the last case, trying to beat it before Brawl comes out.
And consumes my life.

It's time for some serious piracy.
