Kai grabbed his battlechips and PET and ran out of his bedroom. He nearly collided with his mom on the way down the hall. "Oops!" he apologized, not stopping his dash for the door. "Sorry, Mom!" He was just about to open the door when she called to him.

"Where are you going, Dear?" She asked, sweetly concerned.

"We're going to a net battle!" Rocket confirmed, her voice muffled a bit by Kai's hand.

"Oh, alright, have fun!" She yelled as Kai dashed out the door.

They raced to the arcade. When the got there, Kai was out of breath. He leaned against the wall and waited for Jack, hoping to catch his breath. Net battling was starting to get very fun, and that was annoying, but he could think about that later. Right now he had a battle to fight.

Rocket sat quietly and waited for Fladraman to show up.

"JAAAACK!!!" Fladraman shouted from his PET. "WAKE UP!!! At this rate, you'll be 30 minutes late for your netbattle!"

Jack groaned as he put his pillow over his head. "10 more minutes..."

"You said that 10 minutes ago! Wake up already!"

"Fine, fine...Gimme a minute and I'll be all set."

After about 7 minutes, they got bored, so they started talking. Kai got out a pen and paper and they had a drawing contest. Rocket won.

Kai got up and looked around again. Still no sign of Jack.
What could have happened to him?

20 minutes have passed since Jack woke up. He could be seen running frantically out of his house with a loaf of bread in his mouth.

"I can't believe you fell asleep in the shower!" Fladraman exclaimed.

Jack took the loaf in his left hand, since he was holding his PET with his right. "I didn't mean to, you know! I was way too sleepy!"

"Well, you better hurry."

"I know."

Jack ran faster than ever; he felt as if he was Sonic or something. Anyway, he was able to reach the arcade after 10 minutes.

"lol sorry for being late," he said. "Too much sleep due to lack of it. You know..."

Kai went forward to meet the older boy. "Yeah, well, can you be a little less late next time?" he asked, giving Jack a mock lock of disgust, then cupped his hand to his mouth and whispered. "I had to draw because of you!" Kai couldn't draw a stick man.

"I heard that!" Rocket snapped.

Kai whistled innocently. "Heard what?"

"Ha-ha, funny." She said sarcastically, then turned to meet Fladraman. "Hey, Fladraman. What happened? Why are you guys so late?"

"First off," Fladraman told Rocket. "This guy stayed up till late midnight while he was having a date with his girlfriend."

"I told you, she is not my girlfriend!" Jack interrupted. "And besides, she's not the only one who went with me to buy school supplies, you know!!"

"Anyway," Faldraman continued from where he left off. "He slept pretty late, and he wakes up late everyday. I had to keep bugging him just to make him open his eyes!"

"..."

"Also, he fel asleep in the shower, for crying out loud!"

"At any rate," Jack said in an attempt to stop Fladraman. "Let's start."

"You just don't want them to know that you also fell asleep while eating breakf~"

"LET'S GO!!!"

When Rocket heard why they were late, she promptly started cracking up. She was laughing so hard, she fell to her knees and held her stomach. "That's...Funny...!" She said between gasps.

Kai tried to keep a straight face, but when Fladraman said that Jack had fallen asleep eating, he couldn't hold it anymore. He laughed hard for a few seconds, then screwed his face up until he wasn't laughing anymore.
"Ok," he replied, the corner of his mouth twitching. "Let's jack-in. Rocket, get up and cut it out!"

"Can't!" Rocket cried, then burst into peels of laughter again.

"Rocket!" Kai shouted, not feeling like laughing anymore, just a bit embarrassed at Rocket's outburst.

"Ok, ok!" Rocket gasped, then held her breath, til' she wasn't laughing anymore. "There, all... Better." She said, still snickering.

Fladraman prepared for battle. He warmed up as he waited for Rocket.

"You attack me first," he said as he finished pumping his digital muscles up.

Rocket knodded in agreement and fired a few buster shots. She didn't want to start out with too big of a bang. Also Kai had told her to do it. Staying rooted to the spot, she fired again, then stopped and waited.

Fladraman dodged them all promtply with ease.

"Buster shots? Way too pathetic, Rocket."

He suddenly ran towards Rocket, unleashed his FladraBlade, and attacked her with it.

"Let's see how you dodge this!"

Rocket moved so fast she didn't really know what she was doing until she was behind Fladraman. Right as he slashed, she fell to the ground and slid underneath him, then jumped back up. When she realized she hadn't been hit, she fired her buster at his back. "I'll show you pathetic!" she growled.

"Nice move, Rocket!" Kia praised, getting his chips ready.

Rocket shot on the ground...since Fladraman had sidestepped away as soon as he heard Rocket's voice.

"You mustn't make your whereabouts known by shouting," he said as Jack slotted-in a vulcan battle chip. "This thing can fire more shots."

He pointed the vulcan at his opponent who was still attacking and fired.

"Yikes!" Rocket yelped and jumped out of the way, nearly making it. One of the shots got her foot. When she landed, she fell to one knee, but got up quickly.

"You okay in there?" Kai asked.

"Just fine."

"Great! AreaGrab and Sword, battlechips in, download."

Rocket teleported right up in Fladraman's face and slashed with her sword. She didn't talk this time, just because.

Fladraman unleashed his sword once again just in time to defend himself.

"Not bad..." he smiled. "For a girl!"

He pushed Rocket back with great force and advanced towards her.

Rocket skidded to a stop from the backwards thrust and looked up, her red eyes burning. "Take. That. Back!" She shouted, flying at him with blinding speed.

Kai stared. He didn't know Rocket could do that.

"She's getting steamy!" Jack said. "Dodge, Flad~"

Fladraman had already taken a large leap backwards, having foreseen Rocket's movements. "You're too slow, Jack!" he said with a smile.

Rocket's sword hit the ground with a decive crack. She stood up again and ran at Fladraman, this time taking a leap above his head before slashing.

Rocket landed with Fladraman right behind her. Without wasting any time, he attacked her back with his elbow and stepped back.

Rocket fell on her stomach and coughed. "That hurt." But there was no way she was going to loose to this guy, no way. She got up and turned to face him, her sword raised, then it disappeared. Well that was convenient!

"Busterup in, download." Kai's voice came out of nowhere.

Rocket materialized it and shot at Fladraman. This was beginning to grind on her nerves.

"Let's do this manually..." Fladraman whispered to Jack.

"Just don't get yourself hurt," Jack said.

As Rocket's shots approached him, he evaded them all with ease...except one which hit him in the stomach.

"Not good," Fladraman said, as he fell on his knees.

"Too bad," Jack said, expressionless.

Rocket used that to her advantage. "Shock Wave!" she commanded and touched the ground with her hand. A wide wall of cyber water, crackling with electricity, came from it and rushed toward the fallen fire navi.

OOC: I'm using my special chip. The range on it indicates he shouldn't be able to dodge.

It doesn't rush towards me. It appears right below my ground. 'cause if it rushes towards me, it should've been something like this:

...Fladraman smiled. Jack had put in a reflector chip when Fladraman hit Rocket with his elbow. And, well...the reflector's attack came rushing towards Rocket.

"You have me to thank for," Jack said. "And for this one, too: Recovery, slot-in!"

Fladraman stood up and watched Rocket about to be hit by his battle chip.

"O, Crap..." Rocket said and blocked her face with her hands. Good thing it wouldn't do much damage to her. O, wait it would stun her, again, CRAP! The wave hit her and she fell down, unable to move.

Kai hadn't known Jack had a Reflector chip, he stared for a moment then covered his eyes with his hand and sighed. He then let go and clawed his face. Rocket had just gotten hit by her own attack! O, brother... It wasn't such a bad blow though, he'd save his recovery chips for when she needed them alot.

(OOC: lol you're not stunned. just damaged. look at chip info. anyway, you can move once fladra gets near. if he does...)

"You've been damaged quite badly, don't you think?" Jack said with a smirk. "You'd better give up."

At that same time, Fladraman unleashed the first of his 2 killer combos.

"Shock Burner...you are SO dead." he said with a grin.

"Shock Burner is an attack wherein Fladra unleashes lightning bolts from the sky. it has a really wide range, you know."

And, yeah, countless poisonous flaming lightning bolts did come down from the sky.

"YAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" Rocket screamed. It felt like she was going to be deleted right then and there! But when it was over she was still alive.

Kai figured that Rocket needed that recovery chip now, so he gave her one of the good ones.

Rocket got up after much effort on her part. The Recovery chip helped quite a bit. But now she was angry, very angry. Her eyes started to glow dangerously again and she simply walked purposefully toward her opponent.

"Rocket? What are you doing!? Stay back!" Kai shouted at her.

Rocket ignored him and kept walking, refusing to let the pain stop her. She began charging her weapon.

Fladraman made that pose that says he's gonna do the Supernova. After all, it is a combo, right?

"Wooh, red eyes..." Fladraman smiled. "What, you're gonna hit me with some super attack of pure rage or something?"

Fladraman was really confident that he would win. He even forgot about his operator's existence somewhat.

"Don't let your guard down," Jack said. "...but I don't think you'd listen to me now. I mean, you're not even listening right now. What the heck."

Rocket growled and started running. It was so fast she was there in one second.

"Wait, Rocket! Stop!" Kai shouted, but it was too late. Rocket had already charged her buster was about to release it.

"No," Rocket said quietly. "You are so dead!" She fired the shot and fell backwards from the force of it. There was an explosion and Rocket looked up. "Pretty good, for a girl..." She said with a smirk, then fell over and didn't move.

Fladraman was surprised as hell. His eyes were opened so wide. He thought he was done for...

When the explosion was over with, Fladraman was there, his arms crossed to defend himself. He was breathing heavily.

"Wait a minute..." he said as he checked himself. "No scratch...what happened here?! Am I...*gulp*...already dead?"

"Navis get deleted; they don't turn into ghosts taht can pass through anything," Jack said with a smile. "Don't forget that I'm still around."

"Jack..." Fladraman wondered. "What on earth...?"

"One word," Jack replied. "Invis. Had it prepared when I saw that Rocket was serious. She would've won if you got hit by that, you know."

"Yeah..."

"It's because you're too slow with your Supernova."

"What?!" Fladraman exclaimed. "Why I oughtta..."

"Stop," Jack said, his voice suddenly having a serious tone. "What about Rocket? Now's your chance."

Fladraman smiled. "Jack's talking to you, Kai. Now's your chance, unless you want me to get rid of your navi for good."

Kai looked at Jack, then back at Rocket. When she woke up she would probably kill him for this, but... He pushed her symbol and logged her out. "Thanks." He said.

Fladraman made a calm smile. "Log me out, too~"

"Logout, Fladra," Jack said, not hearing his navi speak.

Fladraman reached his PET. "Let me finish first!"

"You said something?"

"...forget it."

Jack looked at his PET. "Anyway, you did a pretty good job acting back there."

"Heh," Fladraman laughed. "You noticed, eh?"

"You've been moving a lot," Jack replied. "And, come on, you need to exert some extra effort to dodge the attacks of someone as fast as Rocket."

"Yeah..." Fladraman said. "I had a tough time with her. But at least I didn't get damaged!"

"Yes, you did," Jack said, annoyed. "I secretly slotted in a recovery chip while you were busy with your Shock Burner."

"Oh..." Fladraman just remembered about it. "...right."

Pikaman: (from the stage) *eats some popcorn and drinks pepsi* Go Rocket Go!
Cole: Didn't I say NO Pepsi? You remembered LAST time...
Pikaman: MALFUNCTION.... BOOOOM!
Cole: *slaps forehead*
Pikaman: Im ok! *tosses a blue Z-Saber to Rocket.* Rocket, GET IT!

Fladraman slapped his forehead. "Listen here...First, Rocket's damaged to the point that she can't even stand up. Second: being able to give Rocket a saber means that you're in her PET...and no net op would just let anyone go in their PETs...and meh, it's useless, since the battles over.
