Well that trip was a total dud. Everyone got sick,my grandmother had a heart attack, and we spent the whole week indoors.

Its alright, playing Crisis Core for a whole week without interruption almost makes up for it =o

Well if it makes you feel any better the game really isn't challenging at all. Proper usage of the materia fusion feature can net you even more powerful materia early in the game that makes everything ridiculously easy. I had a 999% HP boosting materia before I was even halfway finished with the game.
