I'm here to talk about great Halo moments. No matter what number you played, if you've played Halo, you've got one. I, for example, had three this weekend:

- My cousin was hiding around a corner so I bounced a Plasma Grenade off the wall and down the hall and stuck it right to his face.

- My cousin was up on the rock formation in Beaver Creek with a sniper rifle and I was hiding behind a rock with a beam rifle. I jumped up and no-scoped him before he could even bring up his sights.

- After being completely and utterly pwned for the entire round, he was trying to get the jump on me by hiding on the rock formation again, except this time with an Energy Sword. He tried to dive bomb me, but I blasted him out of the air with my shotgun..

1 is more of a blond Halo Moment.
2 isn't really great, it was just lucky.
3 was just... bleh. I shoot bladers with PISTOLS.

Now, this is a great moment... So all three of my friends are coming at me, and all I have are sticky grenades and a one bullet shotgun. My friends have Energy Swords and Warhammers. I just go and sticky one then bash on the other two.

Here's a GREAT moment. I... never bought it! :lol:

anyway one time I had a sword and my friends were all ganging up on me with like guns and shit. I won.

2- that was after he was bragging about no-scoping his buddies, plus that isn't the only time I did it
3- I was facing away from him and looking forward, not facing him and looking up. Plus, he was about two inches away from me.

And the whole hammer 'n sword thing, I could have taken them out, too, and I rarely play the game. I took out two hunters with fuel rod guns by my self with only a shotgun and melee.

by blond he means a combo of blonde and bond duh hmmm swat. we always played swat on lockout so we even had towers named after eachother due to the fact we were always there...

I jumped over a spartan laser, hit Jake with a Gravity Hammer, and the spartan laser shot moved the slightest bit before he stopped firing, and it killed Callie.
Poor Ross, he was the only one left, and he was only 20 feet away, holding a pistol...

HEYHEYHEY! The pistol is the strongest weapon! I fended off 15 Infecteds with Double Wield pistols.

EDIT: for 30 minutes.

Don't you mean Flood? Well, anyways, I liked the pistols WAY better in Halo 2 than in 3. They really screwed them up after they made them weaker (same with the Needlers).

No, me and a couple of online and real life friends were playing Infection game... You know, that one with the guys with only Swords and Hammers plus bonus speed and jump height.

I once survived an ambush using nothing but an empty pistol.

My friend just killed 5 people with one shot of the Spartan Laser. I swear, having the respawn points in one place really makes that easier.

There was this one time me and my friend Jake were playing Sandtrap and he had the banshee. On the game he set up, there were no rockets or other heavy weapons that were easy to find, just the banshee. I found this weapon that I didn't know what it was and crouched behind a rock. It turns out it was a Spartan Laser, so when he came flying around the building, I jumped out from behind the rock and wasted him.

That's what you call classy.

Well my favorite is:

Coagulation. My enemy ambushes me with a Energy Sword. Kills one of my teammates. The rest of my team goes after him. I spam grenades. I hear Betrayal! Betrayal! Betrayal! Betrayal! I manage to kill everyone except him by the time I died. Truly felt horrible, yet satisfying, in a wierd way.

Someone connected with the spartan laser online?! That right there is a greatest moment.

1. Was playing a custom game online and shot a banshee out of the sky with the spartan laser and it landed on an enemy and then he died shortly after.

2. Got out of the barrier of blackout. Map is on my bungie.net profile.

My little brother Alex was playing for his first time on Halo 3 in Sandtrap, and he managed to get stuck in the minefield. My friend Nick, who's pretty good at the game, was trying to show off by flying down to hit my brother with a banshee. Alex panicked, mashed the buttons, and managed to pull Nick out and stranded him in the minefield.
