ElecNinja stood still in the gust of wind that constantly changed directions over the hills of the area. He stood there with his eyes closed, trying to understand order from the chaos around him. He stood there and listened carefully to the movement of the every changing wind.

Shocky explored the internet with out any guidance from Edge today. He had been given a free day by Edge to do whatever he wanted to, and that happened to include exploring the net today. "Well, let's see what I can find today!", thought an energetic Shocky. The navi came to a halt quickly though when he came upon a specific area. It wasn't really the area that bothered him, but the slightly intimidating navi that haunted it. "Maybe I shouldn't bother this one., thought Shocky as he continued to walk forward. Hopefully he wouldn't notice him, but with the occasional discharge from Shocky and the slightly heavy armor he was bound to get noticed. Edge wasn't here to help, so that meant he didn't have any chips for a fight. Only the tricks that he had developed involving his electric element.

"Tch, someone of my element is here." ElecNinja mumbled to himself as he felt a rise in static electricity carried by the wind. He opened his eyes and moved them without moving his face. He searched with a cool eye that showed his apathy towards the situation, much like a predator who noticed an intruder, but knew it was too insignificant to even bother with it.

ElecNinja soon concluded that this navi was behind him and moved to the left as he didn't seen him in his current range of sight, but heard his dull footsteps as they made their way past him, possibly in a vain attempt to travel undetected.

After he confirmed the information he gathered, ElecNinja closed his eyes again and resumed his position from before, except that his hands were closed as if they held the handle of a sword. Slowly, energy from the air spiraled around his right hand, gathering from the friction caused by the wind and guided by the weak energy used by ElecNinja. A moment passed and the energy gathered began to take shape into the form of a katana in both his hands. The katana in his right hand pointed towards the ground while the katana in his left hand was reversed and pointed towards the sky.

ElecNinja smiled and stood still. It had begun.

Shocky noticed the movements of the other navi, and he ceased his attempt to pass by since it had failed. "Well, didn't take him very long at all.", thought Shocky as he spun on the heel of his foot to look at the navi. He noticed that the navi was now wielding two katanas, and he knew what that meant. "I'm guessing your not going to let me out of here freely?", asked Shocky in a childish tone with a curious look in his eyes. He didn't wait for an answer and grabbed onto the orbs that rested on his shoulders. He began to pull them off, and as he did electricity began to surge between the orbs and his shoulders.

He now held both of the shoulder pieces in each hand, the opened part that connected to his shoulders pointed towards his opponent. He hadn't battled without Edge in awhile, but he hoped he would be able to win. "So, you going to make the first move or should I?", asked Shocky in his usually cheerful tone.

"Why talk? Express yourself." ElecNinja said as he smoothly spiraled down in a clockwise motion so that he both faced the navi and bent his right leg. The instant he finished the motion, he pushed with his right leg, initiating a dash towards the navi with a strong start. "though your actions." he finished as he continued his dash.

He ran with his body leaning forward and the two katanas now facing towards his back with his arms keeping still near his side as he ran. His eyes dilated as he raced towards the navi as he focused on his target.

Once he got a clear sight of the navi, the pupils of his eyes shrunk and he disappeared. He reappeared on the right side of the navi with both the katanas tilted towards the ground near the right saide of his waist. With a powerful stroke, he slashed at the navi with both his katanas, his left hand moving in a diagonal motion that and his right hand moving in a horizontal motion across the side of the chest.

Shocky looked at the navi with a terrified look in his eyes. The enemies movements were obviously to fast for him, and it seemed like dodging would be nearly impossible. Shocky reacted as fast as he could, and escaped the attack with minor cuts from the katanas. Shocky's hopes of winning the battle were already beginning to fade without Edge. "What should I do?", thought the navi as he tried to devise a strategy. He was made as a long range fighter, and was only supposed to use close range combat as a last resort. Without Edge he had two close range attacks and that was it.

It seemed like staying back and firing at the enemy was going to be nearly impossible, so he began to charge one the orb in his left hand as he placed the other back on his shoulder. After charging he placed the charged shoulder piece back onto his right shoulder as a blade formed around his arm. When the orb was placed on his shoulder again a blade of electric energy extended from the piece that surrounded his hand now. He mustered up what courage he could find and began to charge at the enemy navi, slashing at him diagonally across the chest.

ElecNinja changed into a proper fighting stance as Shocky recovered from his attack. He moved his right leg back so that it was bent away from Shocky and bent his left leg so that it was bent towards Shocky while his chest faced to his right. As he moved his legs and chest, he moved his arms and katanas. He moved his right hand so that it was near his face with the tip of the katana tilted downward and pointed towards Shocky, resting on top of the katana in his left hand after he finished. He moved his left hand in front of his chest so that the blade was parallel with the ground and faced Shocky.

While Shocky was preparing for his attack, ElecNinja slowly performed his own motions to counter that attack. He lifted the katana in his right hand off the katana in his left hand and moved towards his back whiile keeping the blade pointed towards Shocky. He also moved his left arm so that it was vertical while the katana lost its shape and became a swirling mass of energy that surrounded his left arm.

The moment that Shocky attacked with a diagonal slash across ElecNinja's chest from the top left to the bottom right of the chest, ElecNinja moved his left hand into the path of Shocky's blade and the energy surrounding it reformed into a blade that was attached to a gauntlet that formed around ElecNinja's left arm.

As the blades clashed, ElecNinja smiled. Now for some fun. "Secret Sword Two, Gurren Kaina!" he shouted as he used his left arm to knock Shocky's blade away from his body and plunged the katana in his right hand into Shocky's body as electricity flailed out of the blade.

Shocky couldn't react quickly enough to Elecninja's attacks, so the attack came at him with full force. The only thing that managed to stop the Katana from piercing his body completely was the chest plate that protected his body. It was cracked now, but Shocky was just glad to still be standing with only a small stab wound in his chest. Shocky had hardly moved any from the attack, and was still practically in front of Elecninja though. He had managed to do something before Elecninja could attack, and the other shoulder piece rested in his hands because of it. He had used the electricity emitted by Elecninja's attack to charge the other piece, and now it was fully charged.

"Time to play with my new toy.", said Shocky in his overly cheerful tone with a mischievous look in his eyes. The hatch of the orb that contained the barrel to the gun was now shut, and Shocky clicked the button that was on the other end of the orb that usually fired his electric shots. He started to run off while he pulled his arm back and turned around quickly to fling the shoulder piece at his enemy with as much strength that he could muster. It now flew towards Elecninja making a beeping noise. Shocky had turned his own weapon into a bomb that would obviously explode on contact or in a few seconds. The electrical charge that it would release would just add an extra kick.

"I really hope this one works cause I'm running out of attacks without chips.", thought a worried Shocky as he continued to run. He could only hope that Edge would return soon, or he wouldn't stand a chance. Him and Edge had learned to work as a team, and Shocky had never taken the time to think up attacks that he could pull off on his own.

Feeling that the sword penetrated the armor even a little bit, ElecNinja yanked the sword to the left and broke the tip, leaving a broken shard of the katana lodged in Shocky's body.

And while Shocky ran off, he did the same in the opposite direction, and after a while, he stopped and performed a sharp turn so that he faced Shocky. Once he turned to face Shocky, he noticed that Shocky had prepared to throw something at him.

"Lightning finish!" he shouted as he flipped his katana, knelt down and smashed the katana's broken blade into the ground. A small circle appeared on the ground where the the katana had stabbed the earth and traveled towards Shocky and stopped under the broken shard. At that moment, lightning shot up and touched the shard, which caused it to overload and expload.

While this occured, the bomb flew towards ElecNinja and exploaded right in front of ElecNinja, sending shrapnel raining down on ElecNinja and piercing his skin, deeply and lightly. The electricity from the bomb spread out and struck the shrapnel and instantly cauterized the wounds.

ElecNinja gasped and slumped his body on his right knee. He took deep breaths as he tried to recover from the blow; he cleared his mind and refocused himself.

After a couple of seconds, he looked up and stood up, with a bit of effort, and his fierced eyes stared right at Shocky, as if he cursed him for the pain and sent him the very pain he himself felt. And as he stood up, the energy that he held in his arms, disspated from the lack of concentration.

He then smiled and the fierceness disappered, replaced by the joy of battle only received by those who very lives depended on their ability to fight. He smiled as he felt the heat of battle wash over him. He even chuckled and refocused energy into his hands.
