Classes have just ended for Tatsuya, and he, along with all of his classmates, went outside.

When all of them were out of the school campus, Tatsuya was left on his own. Most of his classmates have gone home, and other...err...couples were out on dates of sorts. Tatsuya, however, wasn't interested in either going home just yet or even going on any date with some girl. What he wanted was...

"Hey, Tatsu!" a navi yelled while Tatsuya was still in deep thought. "Are we going somewhere or are we going somewhere?"

Tatsuya snapped out of it upon hearing his navi's voice. He took his PET as he looked at his own personal navi, whom he named Fladraman. "Yeah, sure."

Kevin realized he zoned out as he felt his ramen burn his leg. "oh not again" he said calmly then rushed to get the ramen in his mouth. "mmmm its always good even when it burns."

Genis was among the stampede of students rushing out the doors of the school. As he finally escaped the rush, he stood and looked around. "I wonder what plans everyone has for today." he said to himself. He looked around and saw that most students had already left, with a short few remaining in front of the school.

"It seems that they're all pretty much gone..." Skwuck, his navi who closely resembled his operator aside from having a different colored shirt, fox ears, and a fox tail, replied to his partner's thoughts.

"I know, but there's still some people around. Let's see if they're up for an outing or something. Maybe some games or Netbattling." Genis suggested. He looked around and saw a kid talking into his PET, and figured he might be bored or something, so he began walking towards him.

Skwuck sighed. He figured they had nothing better to do, so off they went.

"Looks like someone's coming," said Tatsuya as he started to hear footsteps nearby. Looks like he wasn't the only one left out. "I wonder who it is..."

"Probably some other kid who's looking for someone to go out with," Fladra replied. "And when I say 'go out', I don't mean dating, so don't get the wrong idea here, okay?"

"U-uh, hiya." Genis nervously greeted the boy. "What's up? Just wondering if you had any plans for today or something." he said.

"Smooth..." Skwuck said under his breath.

"I heard that!" Genis whispered to his new navi. "Oh, by the way, my name's Genis. And this here is my bro-, er, I-I mean, uh, my navi, Skwuck.

"Hiya," Skwuck greeted the boy in the exact same tone Genis had done so in, though his voice had no hint of nervousness.

"Hiya!" Fladra said in a friendly and happy tone in his voice. "Name's Fladra, and this is Tatsu. Nice to meetcha."

"Yeah, sure," Tatsuya said. "It's not Tatsu, it's Tatsuya. Anyway, I'm just zoning out for a bit before I go to a certain place."

"Hey, hey..." Fladra intervened. "Are you two, like, brothers or something? Like a human who changed into a navi or something? Come on, Skwucky, you look like a human, 'cept for that tail and the cat ears..."

"And why do you think he's a human, Fladra?"

"Secret experiment in SciLab," the navi replied. "You never know what the scientists in that place are up to. Next thing you know, they've just finished making some sort of uber weapon of mass destruction."

Genis and Skwuck stood silent for a moment in awe. "H-how did you..." Genis began, perplexed about this Navi's knowledge of a top secret experiment not released into the public. "Gah, Skwucl, what should we do?!" Genis whispered to his navi as he panicked.

"Nothing," Skwuck replied bluntly. "Heh, well now that you know that, I guess we don't really have to hide anything from them now, do we? I'd just like to ask that this stay a secret for now, okay?" As Skwuck asked his request, he smiled happily about meeting new friend. His personailty had somwhat changed since the past now that he remembered his history, but he still felt himself. "Oh, and Fladra, uh, they're fox ears and a fox tail. If they belonged to a cat, they wouldn't be so... fluffy..." Skwuck let out a sigh that was somewhat awkward.

"...Right," Genis said. "Anyways, nice to meet you both." Genis flashed the same smile that Skwuck had given them. "So, got any plans for today?" he asked? His boredom was beginning to set in on him.

"Dammit, Fladra..." Tatsuya said. "I can't believe you were right..."

"It's all in the cyber genes...or whatever you call it," Fladra replied. "I'm also a product of one of SciLab's secret experiments, and I can tell whether SciLab has something to do with, uh...something..or not."

"Alright Fladra, you're not making sense anymore," Tatsuya said in an attempt to shut his navi up. He faced Genis and Skwuck as he replied, "I'm planning on going somewhere, but I don't think it's the right time yet."

School was out, finally. What a relief! Now he could go home and sit and do nothing. Wow...that really didn't sound too fun. But there wasn't anything else to do. Ash didn't have any friends exept for his navis, the ones he had built himself, and they were gone. Disappeared.

He looked around the schoolyard as he shuffled out the door, hands in his pockets. Looked like everyone was going to have fun. He sighed. Man, he was depressed today. Suddenly, just as he was walking past a group of kids who seemed to be deep in conversation, his PET started going off! He was so startled, he nearly jumped out of his skin.
"Gah...! Sorry, about that." he said quickly, shutting it off.

"Who was that?" Tatsuya wondered. "Is it just me, or did I just hear someone say, 'Gah...! Sorry, about that,' nearby?"

"Heard it, too," his navi replied.

Tatsuya looked at the guy who had just said that, and thought he'd talk with him for a while. Facing Skwuck, he said, "Talk to ya later. Wait right here for a while, okay?" He never waited for a response, and instead headed straight for the guy.

Ash saw one of the kids coming toward him and he just froze. In the back of his mind was the hope that he was going to be friendly, but then there was also the fear that he was angry or something. "Uhm..." was all he could say.

"Elow der, gud fella!" Tatsuya greeted as he placed his hand on the guy's shoulder. "Wut r u d0ing hir?"

"..." Fladraman was thinking, "Speak normally; you'll scare him."

"Uh...Hello." Ash replied. AK! He was touching him! (time for cat sounds and clothes bristling like fur) But he calmed down then and just smiled nervously. "I was gonna' go home..." He trailed off.

"Hey, waity for a minute here!" Tatsuya said as he took the guy's hand, stopping him from his tracks. "OMG I'm turning gay..." As the thought struck his mind, he immediately let go and smiled, his hand searching the back of his head. "Uh, name's Tatsuya. Tatsuya Satoshi. And you?"

Ash turned and looked at the guy. "I'm Ash, Ash Kiyama." Maybe this guy wanted to be friends? Or he was gay... "Uh, nice to meet you. Who's your navi?" He asked, seeing the PET.

"I'm Fladra," Fladraman said first. "Who's you're navi? Oh, by the way, Tatsu's not gay, if you're thinking he is."

"I better get some more clothes on if i'm going outside" Kevin said as he put on a white T-Shirt and shorts. He then proceeded to go outside and to the park.

Ash froze on that one. Now he really missed Shadow. "Here,"
He said, holding out his custom PET. "I don't have a custom navi like you guys."

"That. Is. Strange," Tatsuya said. "No navi? Then what's with the PET?"

"Hey!" Fladra suddenly intervened. "Don't poke your nose into others' lives just like that!"

The words hurt, but Ash acted like he didn't mind. "I have one, he's just standard though..." Ash was beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable, so he decided to try breaking the ice. "So...wanna' net battle sometime or something?" he asked shyly.

"Against a standard navi?!" Fladra exclaimed, his bossy side showing. "No, thanks. I'll pass."

Tatsuya smiled at Fladra's response; after all, he'd make mincemeat out of normal navis and turn them to barbecue without even needing any chips. "So, uh, are there anyone else around here?"

"Well, I was willing to netbattle," Genis said as he walked up to the two boys talking. "But you never gave me the chance to ask. Oh, uh, hiya!" Genis greeted the boy Tatsuya had been talking to. "I'm Genis, and this is my NetNavi, Skwuck."

"Heya." said Skwuck. "Eh, I am a little bored. A netbattle would be fine, I guess, if they're up to it."

"Okay then!" Genis said. The two voices were very similar and could almost not be told apart.

"Yeah, that'd be nice," said Fladra. "Standard-navi vs. the hentai navi."

"Er... Huh?" Genis didn't understand the joke one bit at all. "...Hentai navi?"

"Grr, dammit, take it back!" Skwuck said angrily. "My name doesn't have ANYTHING to do with a hentai whatsoever!" Skwuck had apparently been referred to as something along the lines of a "hentai navi" before.

"Uhm...Hi." Ash said, waving his hand a little. "I'm Ash Kiyama. Nice to meet you." He decided to just pretend he didn't hear the part about 'hentai navis', because he didn't get it at all. Scratching his head, he looked around. There sure are a lot of people willing to talk to me today. He thought.

"I'll battle you if you want me to." He said, unsure. It would have to seem boring battling a standard navi.

"Well, I'll netbattle you if you're up to it." Genis said. "Oh, eheh, forgot to tell you ou-, er, my last name. It's Kousetsu. Genis Kousetsu."

"Be more careful..." Skwuck whispered to Genis. "Anyways, I'm kinda bored so I'd kinda like a netbattle too," he said, unsheathing his swords.

"You don't mind, do you, Ash?" Genis said eagerly.

Ash was about to agree to it When he remembered something. He had left his backpack inside the school building. "RRGG!" he said with a smile. "I'll be right back. I left my backpack in there." He indicated the school.

With that he jogged off and was about to go inside when suddenly, CRASH!! "Ah!" He yelled as he fell on his back. Wow, that guy had just appeared out of nowhere! "S-sorry!" He said, getting up slowly.

"Ah, okay. We'll wait right here then!" Genis said happily.

"Take your time." Skwuck said. The both of them watched as Ash went to go reenter the school.

Genis turned to Tatsuya and asked, "Well, got any plans for today? If not the-" He then heard Ash shout after a crash was heard. "Er... That sounded like Ash... Should we check up on him?"

"Ash was...screaming..." Tatsuya said. "...nah, whatever. And Genis, I'm not going there. Why, you ask? Because I'm lazy, that's why."

"Lazy bum..." Fladraman commented. "And you're thinking Ash is gay, huh?"

"...of course not! Even guys have the right to scream...I guess."

"Er... okay... I guess I'll just wait here then also..." Genis said, still feeling unsure about Ash's status.

"Why wouldn't he have the right to scream?" Skwuck asked. "If you even call the noise Ash made a scream, that is..."

Kevin notices a small group of people gathered, which appeared to be a net battle so he took a seat nearby to watch.

Ash got up quickly and ran into the school, grabbed his bag, and ran back out. "Ok." He said, skidding to a stop in front of the group.
"I'm ready." Though what exactly he was ready for he didn't know.

"Alrighty boys," Tatsuya said. "Wanna go with me somewhere? I was planning on doing something today, but I was wondering if I could get some people to come with me."

OOC: This is when school has finished for the year, right? :slowpoke:

"Uh, sure! I have nothing better to do, really..." Genis said.

"Er, but what about your summer reading, Genis?" Skwuck asked. "You have to finish two books before school starts again."

"Meh, I'll do it later..." Genis replied. "So where are we headed, Tatsuya?"

"Fine, just be sure you do it. Heh, procrastination... So bittersweet." Skwuck said with a chuckle. The conversation between the two made it sound like Genis was talking to himself.

"Speaking of which..." Fladra said. "...don't forget to do those things that I placed in my cyber what-to-do list, okay?"

"What were the things written on there again?" Tatsuya asked in a not-so-enthusiastic manner. "Oh, and kindly remind me when we get home so I could...do something about it."

"Alright then," Fladra replied as a screen popped out in front of him. "Read 2 novels and make a 5-page essay for each, then read a pocket book and make a review about it with at least 5,000 words. After that, there's the house-planning project which you didn't pass before. Oh, and don't forget that research paper and stuff about cockroaches."

"Uh-huh..." Tatsuya said. "...Whatever. Let's just act as if we never heard that." He then faced the others. "Okay guys? Anyways, we're going to SciLab. Is everyone ready?"

Genis felt grateful and a little nervous. He was glad he didn't have as much to do, but the pile of homework Tatsuya had intimidated him. "Er... Oh, right. I'm ready!" Genis said eagerly, shaking off his nervousness.

"Heh, good luck with all that stuff," Skwuck said to Tatsuya.

"Sci lab?" Ash asked, surprised. "Why are we going there?" He didn't really want to go there, but he wanted to hang out with these guys, so he decided he would. It would remind him of the accident most likely, but he hoped he was over it. He still missed his and his sister's net navis badly, though.

Kevin stood up and followed the group but kept his distance, due to being too lazy to talk to them but interested in what they were doing.

when they were at the entrance of Scilab they saw a kid get thrown out by a security gaurd
"oh hi" he said "my name is Mark Hurinachi my father works here but they wouldnt let me in"

"Let's just get going, okay?" Tatsuya was getting impatient. He started walking away, but soon stopped in his tracks when he noticed...someone. There were hardly any people around, so knowing whether there was someone knew in the area was relatively easy. He looked back as he saw someone else besides Ash and Genis. "Who're you?"
