Title: Questions

Shuryou - July 1, 2008 08:35 PM (GMT)
I may have missed a 'do you have any questions' secton, but I've got a few questions.

1. What are the limits of making a reploid's description? What is allowed and what is not, ignoring the 'originals only' rule because I abide to that perfectly.

2. When I look at the beginning weapon list, I wonder how do they look like. Are they one appearance only or can you make these custom too?

3. Do you start with any armor?

4. Can weapons be charged as, example, Megaman X's buster can?

5. Are there any rules on Reploids being capable of flight or levitation for fluff?

I may have more in the near future, but I'll see then...

Don't take my word as final, for I'm a relatively new member, but I think I can help out with at least a few of your questions... And hopefully others will fill in what I left out.

1. I don't know of any limits other than not copying an existing Capcom character. I'm fairly certain there aren't any, as long as you don't violate the board TOS.

2. You get to add your own description to each weapon, so you can customize it right down to the physical appearance. Though one may want to keep an axe relatively axe-like...

3. You start with two armors of your choice from this thread (towards the bottom of the post). Keep in mind that you're limited to whichever faction you side with.

4. There isn't a "charge" move for a weapon during battle, but perhaps future items will require a charge for use. You may want to suggest such a thing to Zero, PZ, or KKL.

5. I'm wondering that myself, actually... I remember there being Mavericks in the X series that could fly, though they generally had wings. So perhaps it would be allowed, if only for RPing.

Well, you've been a member longer than me so your word is the only thing I've got at the moment. I thank you for your answers. I'll have to toy around with some various designs for a character.

Saint PhantomZero - July 1, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
Rose is correct.

We may be adding more things such as a charge; don't think we're done with 3.0 yet... B|

What about levitation and flight for fluff? I never got a 'yes' or 'no' to that. Only a 'maybe'.

It may end up being a chip you have to buy in the future. It's an interesting idea.

I also have a question. Can we use Subtanks and then Attack or Focus or does a Subtank take up the whole thing?

Saint PhantomZero - July 2, 2008 03:14 AM (GMT)
Subtank counts as an attack.

If you need help making up chips, then feel free to ask me... I already have over 20 ideas for it. It's pretty much just taking MMBN NaviCust programs and altering them. <,<

I have some questions.

Are 3rd tier armors only given, not bought? If not, where are they listed?

Are the numbers in brackets beside the Damage and ENG cost the max/min they can be altered? If so, shouldn't you show the cost up to the highest/lowest alteration amounts (the last Polearm has the highest (+150 | -105)?

Saint PhantomZero - July 2, 2008 01:57 PM (GMT)
3rd tier will be created in the future, but they'll be expensive so I don't think anyone can buy them yet anyway. Or, we might consider giving them out as prizes and such.

Also the numbers in parentheses are what it can be upgraded to.

Ancient - July 2, 2008 02:14 PM (GMT)
Shouldn't you guys change the list to show the prices of the highest amounts they can be upgraded to, so you don't have to do it when people can actually buy them?

There... is a price list?

Ancient - July 2, 2008 02:33 PM (GMT)
Yes, the second question was for the Blacksmith, I'm talking about the upgrading prices. We don't know the prices of upgrading for anything beyond +25/-25, even if we wouldn't be able to afford them. Wouldn't it just be better to list it to the highest amount? Which is +150/-105.

Yeah I know that, but you're not getting my point, or I'm not getting yours.

We are not going to make a list for total because people may want to upgrade it just a bit, so that's why they use the price at the bottom. Everyone seems to get it so...

Alright.

You can put whatever you want for fluff, just as long as it's not an excessive godmod or broken.
