Akirai stood in an open field. He enjoyed the slight breeze that brought the smells of the field to him and the bright sun that warmed his body, warmed his very soul. He stood there with a relazed grip on his katana. He sent some energy into the orbs on his back so that his dragons could enjoy the day.

But then, he noticed a change in the smell. It was such a slight change that it didn't bother him, but a thought lindered in his mind. Someone had arrived.

Mach had landed in the field. The wind blew against his face. The blade on his hip was pulsating with energy. He slowly reached to unsheathe in. As he drew the sword, he kept his eyes closed. Once you were able to move at the speeds he normally did, you trained yourself not to depend on your eyes. He kept his ears at attention, and pointed his blade at Akirai.

"You're my opponent I presume, let's assume battle positions. I want this to be a great fight." Mach called out.

Akirai smiled. What a pleasant surprise.

"I am he." he responded with a monotone voice that hid his joy. He slowly moved his body into his own stance. It was a stance similar to Goku's stance when he performs his trademark Kamehameha.

Akirai smiled wide.

"Ka...Me...Ha...Me...Ha!" he shouted, slowly getting louder and louder with each breath. While he shouted, the red orb on his back glowed brightly, but the sun was bright and the glow was hidden. At the end, he extended his arms, exactly as Goku would have done, but nothing came out.

Mach jumped to his immediate left to dodge the attack. To his surprise, the blow never came. He took this as a malfunction, or a sign of weakness. Mach quick drew his blade, Sunset, and ran towards Akirai. His eyes were still closed to the sunny field around him. Mach swung his blade at Akirai in a swift motion. He would end this as quickly as possible.

A loud roar echoed forth from Akirai's back.

"Gotcha!" Akirai gleefully shouted as a stream of red, burning energy burst forth from the red orb and curved towards his opponent. It flared and traveled in large, torrential bursts that cut through the air.

"Too bad I never caught your name. 'cause obviously you'll be too jarred to say anything." he continued as he relaxed his stance and stood relaxed. But he wasn't such a fool to lower his guard. He sent energy into the blue orb on his back. Two of the five elemental dragons might be enough.

The magnificent flames had harmed Mach, but not enough. "An Irregular like you doesn't need to know my name." Mach Jet replied. He tanked through the burn and kept his armor tough. He then drew his other blade, Daybreak, for another swing. This time, he used his speed to get behind Akirai. He would attack the source of his problems.

A second roar occurred.

"Please. Don't take me for a random fool who knows not about battle." Akirai coolly said as he unleashed the second wave of energy, this time blue. The blue stream burst and spread out from his back and struck the red stream of energy. At that moment, the blue stream of energy evaporated into a searing steam cloud.

Akirai laughed loudly as the steam quickly engulfed him and his opponent. He knew this wouldn't do anything as his opponent relied on his ears and not his sight, but it was still fun. He dashed away from his opponent as the steam expanded and then settled into a humid fog, knowing that he had to make preparations for his next attack quickly in order to counter. He extended his hands up into the sky as he skidded to a stop after dashing a short distance. He closed his eyes as the fog crept across the land with the help of the wind. He felt the moisture on his face as he gathered up the fog into the palm of his hand as a rapidly rotating orb that seemed to create a miniature hurricane in the fog.

Mach felt the air around him get dense. He could tel that a mist or fog had to have engulfed him. Mach knew that there had to be more to this than special effects. The wind was still brushing against his face. He listened for the sound or energy being charged. He heard Akirai beginning his attack!

Mach quickly rushed towards the source of the noise. He could feel this attack would injure him greatly. He drew his final blade, Sunburst, and charged for the attack.

OOC: Try somethin else besides a head-on charge. =P And yes, it really was just special effect.

"Seperation of Apparitions!" Akirai shouted the moment he felt unatural movement among the fog, it was a name he made up on the spot for what he was about to do, "Tornado form!"

The instant the final word left his mouth. The orb flew into the air to the middle of the fog and spun wildly, which caused a minirature tornado to slowly form around Akirai. As the tornado took form, Akirai jumped up and landed on the orb and hovered just above it.

But, for the moment the tornado was just a weak tornado that only had form, but nothing else.

*A beeping noise goes off on Mach's wrist. He notices a distress signal telling him to report.*

"We'll have to continue this some other time.

*Mach disappears from the battlefield.
