well Maverick Hunter X is kinda better than X1 by graphics and unlockables because of Vile Mode and Day of Sigma but by story X1 is betetr because Dr Cain is still alive fir X2 and X3 while in Maverick Hunetr X they've killed him off before the game starts (day of Sigma) messing up the storyline

Makes you wonder if capcom is going to end up adopting the Maverick Hunter story as the official timeline and remake X2 and X3. Might as well, like they could possibly make the continuity of the Megaman saga any more confusing =/

they can, create another game that takes place in the time that Megaman Vanishes, like what ahppened to him, Protoman, Bass, Roll, Dr Light and Dr Wily, make it RPG and hay presto, they'll reack the game so it dosen't connect the clasic series to the x series so they'll remake X1 again, and then thigns will end back to the way they where, all messed up

I'd have to counter that with Zero's theme from X4 and his theme from X3 and...his theme from X2. All superior (albeit only very slightly) to his theme from X1. Best music, and well anything is between X3 and X5 for me personally. Both of them were high points in the X series to me in all aspects.

I beat the game with X's normal armor first >_> I also managed to find all the armor pieces in one go.

Shortly after that, I crammed in the Ultimate Armor code and proceeded to brutalize each and every level with nothing but overkill.

Times for each, please.

X Normal Run: 1 Hour, 56 Minutes.

X Plasma Armor: 1 Hour, 10 seconds.

X 4Shot Armor: 2 Hours, 30 Minutes

Ultimate Armor (No abuse of Giga Crush): 40 minutes.

Ultimate Armor (Abuse of Giga Crush): 30 minutes.

This is from my memory, so... BTW, Plasma and 4Shot are the arm mods.

X3 would have been the best game if it weren't for the fact that I could've composed better music than the piece of trash shit I had to listen whenever playing it. :lol:

X4 had great music, but X1 just takes the cake. Like almost every stage had good music, how can you forget the supertunes of Storm Eagle, Launch Octopus, Flame Mammoth, and Armored Armadillo. (H) (H)

Plus, in X1 they actually MADE Zero look like he was one badass motherfucking powerhouse by owning Vile in the beginning.

Excuse me? X3 had some of the best music in the series. It was also the first game where Zero was actually a playable character =/

Well I partly meant it as a joke, though it is a bit annoying when I state that X3 is one of my favorites in the series only to have someone respond with a comment calling the music shit. Naturally you'd probably feel the same way if I or anyone else responded that way to your opinions =P

I didn't say "you suck," I said "your music tastes suck," which is entirely an opinion. I didn't say anything like "wow, what a fucking asshole, go listen to some real music already."

And I'm not really bashing X3 either. I said it would be the "BEST IN THE SERIES" if it weren't for its music, of which I do not like. That still doesn't change the fact that I love nearly everything else about it. And the PSX remake was pretty kickass as well.

And if somebody said shit about something I like, I wouldn't go all emo and make it seem like the end of the world. I know plenty of people that hate Prince of Tennis for example, and I don't get annoyed, because I can clearly see the reasoning behind their side of the spectrum.
