Title: Akirai Ryun Versus ???

ElecNinja - July 29, 2007 11:35 PM (GMT)
OOC: Since I'm bored, whoever wants too, jump in. I really don't care.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Akirai walked around an area of the Net that had a ton of hills. So many, that it seemed impossible to actually walk on flat ground for a single second. But, they were pleasant little green hills that seemed quite peaceful to Akirai.

But he was bored. So bored he was tempted to commit seppuku by himself in order to alleviate his boredom, but then he thought better of it. So he walked on, up and down on the endless hills, bored out of his mind.

This continued on for what seemed like years until Akirai seemingly snapped. He screamed, "Damnnit, is there anything to do here?" After the scream disappeared into the air, he slumped down and leaned his back on one of the hills he had just descended from.

Kayne Argand - July 30, 2007 12:02 AM (GMT)
NightShade ran around the hills, slicing trees in half for training. "This is dull," he said.

A few moments later, he so Akirai sitting at the base of a hill. "Hey!" Nightshade called. "Bored much?"

ElecNinja - July 30, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
Akirai turned his head to the newcomer in this hilly area. He looked at him with eyes that didn't seem to actually notice the person but sort of looked beyond the person.

Then after he finally snapped from his temporary craziness, he looked at the person. "Oh, hello." he simply responded in a dazed fashion as the previous insanity still lingered. He then shook his head and got up, knocked the dust off his clothes and turned his body towards the navi.

"My name's Akirai. And your name might be?" he asked as he did a slight bow, now that his normal personality has resumed control.

Kayne Argand - July 30, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
"Nightshade," he bowed in the same fashion as Akirai, hoping to get a battle. "So, what are you doing in such a serene area?"

ElecNinja - July 30, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
While Nightshade was getting up from his bow and almost started his question. Akirai smiled and did a backflip that was intended to hit Nightshade in the face while he retreated backwards.

Akirai laughed a little and then stood upright. He was bored, and when he was bored, he was overly energetic.

Kayne Argand - July 30, 2007 02:25 AM (GMT)
"Hey!" Nightshade growled, reaching for his sword. "Don't mess with me!"

"Or I'll mess with you!" a shadow yelled behind Akirai.

ElecNinja - July 30, 2007 02:51 AM (GMT)
Akirai's eyes opened wide and the pupils contracted as Nightshade reached for his sword. He then bent his knees and jumped into the air as the shadow appeared behind him. It was actually quite a coincidence that he dodged the attack. But that still didn't stop him from continuing on with his plan.

As he was still rising into the air, Akirai sent energy into the silver orb at the very bottom of his back, which caused it to start glowing softly at first but quickly turning brighter and brighter until finally it was shining like a white LED flashlight. Once it reached that point, grayish colored energy started rushing out from the orb and made a vertical u-turn downwards a couple of yards away from the orb and came right under Akirai.

After the energy finally stopped gushing out from the orb, Akirai landed on the now silver colored energy and rode on it as it dashed off at such speed that Akirai's body was a bit blurred. The energy then performed a horizontal u-turn to its right and then dashed towards where Nightshade was, stopping when it was basically about twenty feet away from Nightshade. At that moment, the silver colored energy seemed to take form into something tangible. It took the form of an oriental dragon, a long snake-like dragon with smooth skin and almost no evidence of scales on its body. Akirai was riding near the head of the dragon.

"Say hello to Jin, my partner in battle among four others." Akirai said as he moved up and down with the flow of Jin's body.

Kayne Argand - July 30, 2007 03:17 AM (GMT)
"Four others?" Nightshade moaned.

"This'll be hell," the shadow muttered, running to Nightshade. It took the form of a round hoverboard. Nightshade jumped on and dashed to Jin. As he neared the dragon, he quickly changed direction, going around the dragon. He sped to the beast's tail, then jumped to grind it. Nightshade slashed Akirai, then immediately flipped and attempted to smack his opponent with his board.

ElecNinja - July 30, 2007 02:06 PM (GMT)
OOC: You do know that Jin is a long dragon right?
<.<
>.>

"Wow, that's just pure stupidity. By the time it takes you to actually reach here from the end of Jin's body, I could just do this!" Akirai said as he turned his head back and looked at Nightshade as he approached him. While he looked at Nightshade, he sent energy into the red orb. This time the orb grew brighter much faster that before.

"Go! Huo! Incinerate My Enemies!" Akirai shouted, quite unnecessarily though as a red energy started rushing out of the red orb while the sound of a burning inferno raging appeared as the red energy moved. The red energy traveled next to Jin's body and dashed straight at Nightshade and then making a horizontal u-turn to the right and returning back into the orb.

Kayne Argand - July 31, 2007 12:32 AM (GMT)
Nightshade slashed and deflected the orb. His right arm took critical damage from the aftershock. "Not good enough," He said, panting.

Shadow Destructor! A voice echoed through the UnderNet. Nightshade flashed, and his body was turned into a green tank that had multiple cannons on it.

"Eat this!" The tank yelled. "Earthen Fury!"

Large Wood spikes flew from every direction, aiming at Jin.

ElecNinja - July 31, 2007 02:05 PM (GMT)
OOC: It's not an orb. It's a stream of burning fire energy.

------------------------------------------------------------------

"What do you really think wood would do to metal? It does nothing!" Akirai said as Jin used his tail to fling the spikes away, only receiving a couple of dents here and there.

"Now! Mu, teach this person what real Nature Power is about!" Akirai said as Jin turned and faced Nightshade. Akirai then pointed his right index finger, while extending his arm, at Nightshade as energy started streaming out from the green orb and went into the ground. A moment later, several wooden spikes came out from the ground right below Nightshade and they crossed each other right where Nightshade was supposed to be.

And after the attack, Jin descended and rode among the hills while the green energy returned to Akirai.

Kayne Argand - August 1, 2007 05:36 AM (GMT)
Quickly, Nightshade pounded the ground, leaving a pit that he could hide in, although his back was damaged badly. "Armor... Decreased..." As he got up, he fell. "I won't go down so easily! Shadow Thrust!"

As he called, a shadow dashed into his body, allowing him to stand straight. He grabbed his blade and extended it drastically, almost to the point that he could not control it anymore. Nightshade spun and his blade left a large shockwave, destroying the anything nearby. As the dust settled, a black fire ran through the ground toward Akirai. It split, going in opposite directions, connecting once more behind the target, leaving a circle of black flames around him.
"There's no use dodging. It's a BlackFire Seal." A moment later, Nightshade appeared in the sky over Akirai, his blade pointed down. He pushed on the air, making him fall rapidly towards the circle. He flipped multiple times when he reached Akirai, turning into a giant rotor blade.

After his attack, Nightshade appeared in his starting position, looking like he was beaten up a hundred times.

ElecNinja - August 1, 2007 03:22 PM (GMT)
Akirai laughed. It was a flashy attack that really didn't do anything. It was completely stupid in his opinion. For one, this "seal" wasn't small enough to perform such a direct attack, besides there were multiple ways for him to escape. It really seemed like this Nightshade was just all brute force.

"Dodging? Who wants to dodge?" Akirai said to Nightshade as he saw Nightshade jump into the air. He then slide off of Jin, landed on the ground, and then absorbed Jin into the silver orb on his back. He turned his head and faced Nightshade with a smile on his face as he sent energy into the blue and brown orb. From the brown orb, energy flowed out into the ground beneath Akirai and started to move the earth until it formed half a dome in between him and Nightshade that was about a foot thick. Then the energy from the blue orb moved through it and caused it to change into mud that was in constant, rapid movement.

After this mud shield was made, Akirai summoned the Earth dragon from the still shining brown orb. He told Tu to dig an escape hole in the ground right behind him and in the shadow of the shield. After the hole was progressing quite a bit and Nightshade was still a couple of seconds away from him, Akirai jumped into the hole and crawled backwards into it as it descended farther inside.

While inside the hole he quickly summoned Huo to block the entrance so now he had a trap that would probably be effective.

Kayne Argand - August 2, 2007 05:46 AM (GMT)
Nightshade, still beaten up, called a few shadows to run around. He hoped one of them would find the trap. "I need a Recover!" Nightshade called to his Op.

I KNOW! Here! MINIENERGY!

Nightshade stood up, glad his energy was back. But his armor was still bad.

LIFEAURA2! the voice called, summoning a weak, but effective LifeAura. "Thanks, you're a real lifesaver," Nightshade said. A shadow finally found the trap, and Nightshade stabbed it.

ElecNinja - August 2, 2007 03:33 PM (GMT)
OOC: sigh

Akirai had continued to dig into the ground, and moments later, he finally appeared above the ground behind a hill. He then absorbed the energy he had left behind through the hole where Huo was; it was quite obvious that it followed the hole, but getting into the hole will be another matter as Huo wasn't a weakling.

Huo, with fighting abilities that were on par with Akirai's, decided to create an explosion or something similar as the earthen wall hardened when the water energy left it. He then rushed out of the hole as Nightshade stabbed at it. Huo then performed a quick circle around the general area and then popped back into the hole.

As Huo came out of the hole to where Akirai was, Akirai jumped and then landed on Huo's back and flew off into the air.

"You really should work on your tactics." Akirai said to Nightshade as Huo turned around to face him.

Kayne Argand - August 2, 2007 03:44 PM (GMT)
(OOC: Hills are gone. Shadow Thrust destroyed them. >_> Pay attention, man!)

"What tactics?" Nightshade joked as he tried to pull his sword out of the ground. When he did get it out, the blade was slightly sharpened. "I just fight to deletion," he explained, shooting black energy from his sword.

ElecNinja - August 3, 2007 04:48 PM (GMT)
OOC: Your the one that didn't even hit the shield. Unless that spinning attack was just for show. Which would be stupid.
And the fact that you didn't even say what my attack did to you. The one where Huo emerged from the hole that burned the surrounding area.
<.<
Think about yourself before you criticize others.
Oh, and your attack didn't specify a target so I'm assuming it was random.

---------------------------------------------------------

"Brain beats Brawn" Akirai said as he sent Tu back down into the ground and followed suit. He would need to find a way to exploit this navi's stupidity. And that opportunity will come. Akirai barely disappeared into the hole when the energy that was fired randomly so it seemed when above where he once was.

He dug deep into the earth. Most likely followed, or so he thought. But he used Mu to cover his tracks by covering the hole with wood that blended with the ground.

After digging for quite a while, Akirai decided that it was deep enough and he sat down while Tu expanded the hole a bit and then worked on an escape route. He sat there and thought for a bit. He wasn't really worried about an attack since the guy was too big to fit and probably didn't have enough power to destroy the dirt above him or collapse the hole.

Kayne Argand - August 3, 2007 05:01 PM (GMT)
OOC: I've been beat up a hundred times! What more could you possibly do to Nightshade?

"Hm," NightShade sat down for a bit to heal. "It'll be possible to take him down," he muttered. "Just gotta get him away from those stupid guardians of his." He slammed his fist into the ground, causing a small earthquake. This made the wood Akirai used to clear to fly, leaving his trail and the hole he disappeared to. "So that's where he went..." Nightshade quickly went to work, digging with his blade and planting BigBombs supplied by his Op into the hole Akirai ran off to. After this, he warped a ways back to see the bombs explode.

ElecNinja - August 3, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
OOC: Then find a way, NOT to be beat up.

Akirai laughed, this could be the chance he was waiting for. He could hear the wood breaking up due to the rumble a second ago and the blade stabbing the ground while something was being placed.

There's only one effective weapon against a holed enemy, a flushing weapon. So that must be what he placed there, probably a bomb. I need to let him think that I've died and then find out his location. Akirai thought; faking death would probably be hard to do. He then worked on his plan to fake death.

First, he summoned Shui, the water dragon and asked her to block the single entrance to the hole. Shui should be able to block the blast and still give off enough smoke to satisfy Nightshade's simple mind. He then sent Tu to travel among the earth and search for Nightshade. He then sat in his cave as the bombs went off, burned up the remaining wood, and struck Shui, who blocked it off while emitting a large volume of steam.

Shit, the steam might give me away. Akirai thought as he recalled Shui and waited for Tu's arrival.

Kayne Argand - August 3, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
"I should probably look for signs of life," Nightshade said, warping back to where the bombs were placed. He dug a little, happy that the bombs were gone.

But the ground is moist.

"I know," Nightshade felt the ground. "There was some steam underground. Since it's not the real world, there couldn't be a stream of heated water underground. It has to be Akirai."

Way to use your head, the Op mocked.

"Gee, thanks, Sero," Nightshade sarcastically muttered. "Time for a little dark matter..."

The lava-like dark matter seeped out of Nightshade's body and into the path of the bombs. "Ah, just about nothing could block this data," Nightsahde laughed. "Now it really is brains versus brawn."

ElecNinja - August 3, 2007 06:46 PM (GMT)
OOC: Lols, I'm so going to pwn you for this. You can't deny something and your dark matter, under the circumstances can be stopped.
Unless you decide to make your own rules for it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tu returned to Akirai, it seemed like Nightshade was in the entrance of the hole. And he was emitting something that seemed to melt through anything in its path. But from the information given to him, it didn't seem to fall into the dirt; therefore it was a slow acting material on dirt. Which means that he could slow it down quite a bit with Tu.

But I will have to launch a counter attack quickly. Akirai thought as he began to tell Tu what to do and then summoned Jin to go to the entrance of the hole. Tu went to the long, thin stretch of the hole that started from above and ended when it expanded into the cavern that he had made. Tu then moved the dirt so that the hole became blocked with dirt and looked like nothing had passed through there. Meanwhile Jin went following the hole until he spotted Nightshade, who was in fact standing at the entrance of the hole. At the same time, Tu had just finished a five foot wall of hard packed dirt that blocked the entrance from the hole to the cavern; he then moved on and began another wall a foot away from the previous one. The thing that was being emitted was quite slow. Jin then finally materialized from his energy form, which created a large metal circle about a foot below the surface and pushed the dirt below him. Jin then started his attack, giant metal spikes appeared from his body and pierced the ground above him and aimed randomly around. The spikes filled the circle and covered just about every inch of the area above it.

After the spikes stopped moving, Jin went back into his energy form a lot smaller than before and then returned towards Akirai. Tu also finished his fifth wall and returned towards Akirai.

Akirai received them and took a deep breath. The attack and defense probably wouldn't work so he would have to move up in the dirt. But he would wait for a while.

Kayne Argand - August 3, 2007 11:07 PM (GMT)
"Ahh," Nightshade sighed, sitting down. "That's my limit." He stretched, and lay down. "He's probably gonna give me overkill for trapping him in dark matter. If he makes it out alive!" Nightshade knew that Dark Matter was like lava. It destroyed anything in its path on contact. Except for dirt, that is.

OOC: Dark Matter? Only light energy could destroy this... Whoops. *burns hands*

ElecNinja - August 4, 2007 05:47 PM (GMT)
OOC: What the heck?
You just realize that you were pierced by a ton of metal spikes. And you just sit down? I don't think you can even sit down as the spikes are still there.

Now, please explain this.

Kayne Argand - August 5, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)
OOC: Dark matter >>>>>>>>> Spikes. I'm practically sitting on it. Here, I'll edit my post to fit.

EDIT: Actually, I don't even need to. The last line of my post explains it very clearly.

ElecNinja - August 5, 2007 08:39 PM (GMT)
OOC: You never said that the dark matter created a puddle around you. Unless you're oozing dark matter from every crevice of your body, which I doubt.
From what you wrote, it seemed like you just sent the dark matter into the hole and that's it.

Kayne Argand - August 5, 2007 09:00 PM (GMT)
OOC: I have to control it someway... >_>

ElecNinja - August 6, 2007 12:21 AM (GMT)
OOC: But that doesn't mean that you are totally protected from an attack that attacks from all sides does it?

Kayne Argand - August 6, 2007 02:22 AM (GMT)
OOC: True. Guess I'll post again...

Nightshade laughed as the spikes below him melted, not noticing that more spikes came from above. "Crap!" he yelled. Before he could throw Data to destroy the spikes-

NightShade Deleted. NightShade's Op's voice ehoed, leaving Akirai alone in the now flat landscape.

ElecNinja - August 6, 2007 02:41 AM (GMT)
OOC: Dang it, it's a circle. Not a sphere. There were no spikes from above, just a huge multitude of spikes from around Nightshade.

Kayne Argand - August 6, 2007 02:58 AM (GMT)
OOC: forget it, you won. RPs are more fun that RP Battles, as I have seen.

ElecNinja - August 6, 2007 03:51 AM (GMT)
OOC:
Sigh. I wished for it to have lasted longer.
But, sorry if I came off as an arrogant person there. I just wished that you would give me a more tactical challenge, but it seems like you have not.

---------------------------------------------------------

Akirai told Tu to dig up at a slope so that he would slowly emerge above ground. Once there he sat down and absorbed Tu back and rested. He waited for his next opponent.

OOC:
I seriously wonder why no one seems to want to fight me.
It's really frustrating.

Kayne Argand - August 6, 2007 04:51 AM (GMT)
OOC: It would have been more of a tactical challenge if I had RPed more frequently. Maybe because you're an A-Hole? I'm sorry. That just kinda came out... But seriously, you don't give up.

ElecNinja - August 6, 2007 03:01 PM (GMT)
OOC: LOL, A-Hole Ninja. Remember that?
Give up on what? And heck, I don't exactly RP a lot. I just use everything I have to their utter extent. I try to not leave any opening.
