I really have no idea why I spend time on Gaia, I think it has something to do with my gaming obsession of being able to make custom characters.

1. Yeah there fairy wings, the hair kind of distorts them a bit.

2. It was actually a custom Megaman themed profile that a friend made for me. He was hosting all the images but somehow they all got corrupted and he had already erased the original files, so I had to downgrade it to that big blob of blue.

XD MCs. Every other month, I accumulate 40 bucks and buy sealed envelopes and sell them. It's pretty funny what people wanted to give for 6 March Sealed Envelopes. I once got 4 Ancient Katanas and 20K.

All the 07 letters and items have dropped in pricing. XD Save for march because they were actually good. I still need like 3 04 items and most of the 03 items to have one of every single MC on gaia. God it's great to be rich

Just keep buying the letters with your own money and selling em for like 10K each. Ten letters a month=100K, so in 6-8 months you could finally buy that ultra rare item you've always wanted. I used to do that until I could finally buy my Kitsune Mask, then I stopped. I could pretty much buy most*damned angelic halo and mini angel wings* of the 03 MC's now if they'd appear on the marketplace. It blows when you have enough for an item but it's never there...

Considering I havn't logged into gaia since monday, I doubt it. I'll concern myself with that damned halo after this stupid event ends in october. I would love it if gaia didn't give people vampire skins, I would so love it.

It's not gonna cause inflation, it's to reduce it overall. Otherwise Gaia wouldn't have done it. Either way I personally think it's a load of BS. Taking 2% off our total sales is a load. Gaia needs to stop trying to close the gap between the super rich and super poor. If people would just work for their gold, things would be different. I'll be using the trade system for all sales once this beta is finished and put into place because I'm not gonna let gaia steal any of my gold for any reason.

It reduces the overall gold flowing through Gaia true, but trying to introduce a real world solution in a virtual economy like Gaia's is risky. If prices do eventually begin to lower it probably won't be for at least a few months.

People are already starting mass riots either way like you said though, 2% adds up alot over time.

Depends on the item. On a 1,000 gold sale your only losing 20 gold. The really high priced items are sold on the Exchange forum then traded to the user, thus avoiding a possible 200-300K loss. It's really sad how lazy some Gaians' are. Is it really that hard to take 5 minutes out of your life to use the trade system if your that worried about the 2%?

Also, why do alot of people think it's going to stay? When did the meaning of the words Beta Test change? I thought it ment that some things may be removed or added...

Also, I wouldn't try that method of trading especially on a third party forum. Gaia is being bitches about botted gold. Besides, no one who plays runescape is allowed to live longer than 10 seconds. That's something every gamer knows.

I've been searching around a bit, I've found a few forums that have a third party help in trades between two people. Though like you said its hard to find someone you can be sure isn't trading you botted gold.
