Is it true that your blood is red?

What comes out of you when you bleed? If you study the color, you can clearly see it is red

Your blood isn't red, but your red blood cells are. I guess they influence the color of the blood itself...

Well, it's red when it's in contact with oxygen. Theoretically, if you had cut your veins in a vacuum, the blood that comes out would be blue-green because it's deoxygenated.

That's what I read in a book too..I want to see it deoxygenated.

Wrong. It looks blue in certain veins because of the thickness/opagueness of your skin over that area. It will always be bright red or dark red, depending on the amount of oxygen in it.
Seriously, we had some cocky jock in my Bio class argue all FUCKING hour with the teacher about it...

Oh yeah, thats happened to me before to...stupid dumb jocks need to learn their place...their just stupid and dumb and strong...get used to it...but yes, blood is red throughout the body...the color just depends on the amount of oxygen in the blood.

Yeah, I remember seeing on a show that deoxygenated blood was like purpley-blue.
But, not everything in blood is red, right? Aren't white blood cells white? -_-
