Title: how did this all come to be?
Description: MY theory on life

Archangel - November 11, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
there are many theories out there how the universe and life itself was created, we all know of the big bang theory, honestly it doesnt make sense. if there was nothing to begin with, how did this mater just randomly appear and expload into life? because even void is something, space is something. so you have to understand, "where is the start? where is the end?" what if there is no end? what if there is no start? it could be so large, we could not begin to fathom it? all of our theories so far cant even touch base on what could be the truth. what if everything is staged? all a game? created by some greater being? and if so, how did they come to be? it could go on forever...

what do you think? express ur ideas here

Heh, somethings scinece can't explain, it could have just happend, its a big mystery meant not to be solved, but who really knows eh? When i was younger i was into that life is this big show, its staged and your the only real person, or real human or something, interesting no? xD

Archangel - November 11, 2005 01:47 AM (GMT)
weird, i used to have the same exact thought

Why is there suddenly so much crap about existentialism and such on LUE? I think it would be less a waste of time to go out and do experiments and prove one thing or the other by yourself instead of debating something which currently has no right answer to death with insufficient knowledge.

Archangel - November 11, 2005 02:26 AM (GMT)
i dont know... big words... they're just theories

Dragon_Tam3r - November 11, 2005 02:28 AM (GMT)
Axem, how could you do an expirement about this?

Axem Titanium - November 11, 2005 02:31 AM (GMT)
We are building telescopes that would be able see so far into space that it could see light from the original "Big Bang". Even if you can't think of anything to experiment, it wouldn't do to just sit here and talk about it.

Dragon_Tam3r - November 11, 2005 02:33 AM (GMT)
we could ask other if they;ve done expirments xD

Where what science can explain without stumbling or happening upon unexplainable existences and truths, religion begins. However, religion itself is speculation based on no observable evidence, and is the creation of our highly sentient minds. This is beside the point.

The creation and the existence of the universe is not something that can be explained by any means, it is just a basic truth. It is not that the universe came to be, it is that it is. And it may well have always been and always will be. At that point, people employ either the scientific method or religion to explain things. While the former is more logical, it, too, is speculation. It's impossible to determine.

Don't spoil it. I'm still playing that game.

Know what I think? There is no beginning. No end. Life is just one weird-ass endless cycle, and we'll never know what really happened? Why? Because the human race will die out before we can know that.

Archangel - November 13, 2005 11:34 PM (GMT)
that was basically the essence of my theory

Don't worry, its not really spoiled to ya yet. You'll know what we're talking about when you get there though. Right now you'll have no clue.

It's just unfathomable. What if we were made by a god, who in turn was made by even greater dietys? what if there is no afterlife, just a chain of events over and over. What if only one person exists, and everything else is in his mind. I'm not real! *Blinks out of existance*

Well, honestly, who cares if we're not real? We're thinking and moving aren't we? As long as I'm alive and walking, I'm good. B)

Life is too short to test any of these questions and is too long to enjoy any of it.
