strikeraider827 - June 6, 2004 04:29 PM (GMT)
it was awesome!!!

Durendal - June 6, 2004 05:40 PM (GMT)
Worst movie of the series, if you haven't already read the book dont go, the director was an idiot!! he changed all the sets and the whole HP feel!!

Flip everything he just said. The third is the BEST of the three. The director changed the sets, and they are much better! The dormitory room for Ron and Harry looks like it should and Hagrid's hut and the castle never looked better! Chris Columbus was an idiot!

strikeraider827 - June 6, 2004 05:55 PM (GMT)
I agree with TFD. Even though he used my computer to look at...stuff...

Durendal - June 6, 2004 06:10 PM (GMT)
ur all idiots!! it was horrible!!

um actually, the 3rd IS the best. The new directer made it darker and more spooky. He put more discription into the movie than Columbus.

Durendal - June 6, 2004 06:33 PM (GMT)
i liked the darkness and all but he left out SOOO much, like he skipped the first 4 chapters then like all the classes and the hogsmeade trips and the animagi wizards parts and and and and and ect.

Yeah, but the classes weren't THAT important... Who wants to see Charms or Potions classes? I do agree he left out the Animagi wizards, who Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs were, Pig, and meeting Cho, but i guess that's fine, right?

sara13987 - June 6, 2004 07:50 PM (GMT)
the book was way better than the movie, and i agree with Durandel....something about it didn't interest me as much as the others. the firebolt thing was all screwed up, and im not fussy about the fact that the students didn't wear their uniforms for most of the movie. besides that, i dunno....it was good, but not the best.

strikeraider827 - June 6, 2004 08:44 PM (GMT)
then which of the movies was the best?

sammy - June 6, 2004 11:09 PM (GMT)
i read all the books and seen all the movies and i can say this was the best one yet. the graphics and plot were great and the whole movie was so suspenseful. everyone should see it and they will love it, like me!!!!!! :D

sammy - June 6, 2004 11:11 PM (GMT)
hp #3 was the best one, strike.
it was so beastie. go see it!!!!!!!!!

I've seen it already, and I agree.

sara13987 - June 7, 2004 06:14 PM (GMT)
i think the second one was the best.... maybe i just didn't pay alot of attention during the third one.....

no second one was HORRIBLE!!!

dark menace - June 7, 2004 08:48 PM (GMT)
I haven't seen the 3rd movie yet. But I've read all of the books 6 times each, and I'd have to say my favorite was #4. J.K. Rowling didn't seem herself in #5 though.... she just wrote a whole lot differently. I read about 3 pages and knew it from the start.

sara13987 - June 7, 2004 10:14 PM (GMT)
the fifth one was different because she was pregnant~!~!

....i dunno, strike, i dont no which of the first 2 i liked more....

dark menace - June 8, 2004 06:01 PM (GMT)
I don't think her being pregnant was what made the diff. Sure, it affected the time it took to write it, but that's about it. It's her mood.... Just the feeling in the book is different. I don't like that new feeling....

sara13987 - June 8, 2004 06:24 PM (GMT)
.....what dont u get about it, dark menace?

I agree. It wasnt too bad, but the director skipped too much stuff. He changed a lot of the cast to a bunch of idiots and screwed a lot of stuff up.

sara13987 - June 8, 2004 06:58 PM (GMT)
yeah.....half the characters aren't even played by the same people~!~! <_< they have a reason for Dumbledore, but NEVILLE?!?!?

He changed only one person, Dumbledore. All the rest are the same people. And he didn't mess up anything! Name three things he messed up.

I liked the new uniforms! *thinks about uniforms, drooling* And the firebolt was done just fine! Trelewany's vision was right on, I had book in hand to make sure...

alana136 - June 8, 2004 09:54 PM (GMT)
The whole time i was watching the movie i was trying not to scream!!!! Could it be anymore unlike the booK!!!!!!!!! I mean, where was J.K. Rowling?!!! they ethier took out the important parts or changed them completly. the characters like Lupin didnt look right.
They also didnt explain anything, as if they expected that everyone had already read the book. I have but if i hadnt i would of liked to know how lupin knew about the map.
Also they only showed the cat (i cant spell the name) probley a few times. This is unfair due to the fact that i found the cat played a important role in the book as it had contact with Sirius, and showed Harry how to get into the willow. But oh no! they had to do this big old scean with Harry and Her... oh forget it! i cant spell her name ethier! anyway...Harry and that girl flying through the air.
i liked and disliked the fact that they wore normal clothes. i found it was a nice change but in the book they only wear normal clothes on holiday. But i must say that i liked the new school uniforms to the old ones. the new ones look a lot nicer.
THEY LEFT OUT THE KNIGHT! ok not really because they showed him in the backround but he was funny!
They aslo switched the positions of Hagrid's house and the fat ladys portrat. Movie people of Harry Potter, dont do this. it only annoys me.
Well i guess thats what i think of the movie. OH yeah it was good except for all the things i mentioned.

Durendal - June 9, 2004 02:06 AM (GMT)
I liked the darkness part but i noticed the lack of clothes too, (school uniforms <_< ) and they casted trewlany and lupin WRONG!! nothing like the characters.

I agree Lupin was casted horribly. Trelewany was casted just like she was in the books!!!

Durendal - June 9, 2004 02:40 AM (GMT)
no she was suposed 2 be lost in a bunch of shawls and have SUPER THICK glasses so her eyes looked huge, and they skipped christmas!! CHRISTMAS!!!!! hes a retard plain and simple.

Axem Titanium - June 9, 2004 02:49 AM (GMT)
I think the dude who did Gilderoy Lockheart would do better as Lupin. The dude they have now isn't awesome enough.

DragonStrife - June 9, 2004 05:56 AM (GMT)
a lot of arguement...I haven't even seen this yet.

No no no... YOU'RE the retard! She did have fucking thick glasses, the prop lenses were 1 1/2 inches thick! He was great, and I can't wait to see the fourth one! He'll blow Chris Columbus out of the water. And there is something to be said for creative lisensing. Alfonso didn't have to make it follow the book, because Rowling let him do as he wished. The 3rd movie was better than the first two; PERIOD, FULL STOP, END OF DISCUSSION!

and they said that lupin was plain looking, but i don't like the mustache....

Axem Titanium - June 9, 2004 02:56 PM (GMT)
We're all entitled to our opinions so insults won't work. Anyway, Alfonso Cuaron isn't directing the 4th movie. Mike Newell is Goblet of Fire's director.

alana136 - June 9, 2004 06:53 PM (GMT)
I agree. Lupin was casted totaly wrong. He was sopposed to have shaggy clothes and i don't belive he had a mustach. Trelewany was ok but i she was sopposed to have her room in something like an attic that was hardly lit. She was also sopposed to wear more shawls and jewlery. the glasses were right though, but was her hair really like that?
Ugg! and they skipped christmas! how boring. the ending was screwed up because he gets his firebolt in the middle of the story but he gets it taken away because it has to be checked for curses and stuff.
I think Sirius should of looked more dirty and his hair should of been longer...mabey...I mean after all he was in prision for 12 years wasting away, your going to be dirty.

Well its a very interesting topic. I found in this movie there where to many little things wrong and that really ticked me off.

I found that the showing of the interest between Ron and Hermione came to soon. I do not belive that this happens in the 3rd book; however, it does show that they do have feelings for each other in the fourth book and in the 5th.

they're gonna have 2 split the next movie into two 2 hour movies or make it a titanic sized movie.... but yeah the room was wrong the ground were wrong and the firebolt scene was SO messed up it wasn't funny, and yeah sirous should have been dirtier with longer hair and lupin looked 2 rich....
