Title: true freindship
Description: whats your Criteria ????

Most people have something that they look for in other people, something that stands out and attracts your attention. Once that person has your attention time is spent and you decide if that person is worthy of being a true friend. Me personally I look for individuality that one thing that every one has … well should have that makes them who they are whether it be intelligence, determination, a kinky sense of humor or being just plane different and weird. I want to know what it is that you all look for…

I actually don't look for anything in a friend; most of the time I wait for people to talk to me and hopefully some spark of friendship will blossom. (Yayy for cheessey words! ^_^) Or, like, I meet friends through other friends.. I find that fun to do. However, upon meeting someone I hope to God I don't find suicidal tendancies(If I find this out, it depends on where the friendship level is for me to really mind or not; I'll stick by my friends no matter what, though.^_^..), *too much* arrogance/cockyness(they just annoy me), or seriousness(I have a weird fear of suicidal people)... And so on.

I kinda understand where your comin from but I am more of the type to bring new people to my group of freinds and the people I usualy bring have something special about them their individuality that makes me consider them

The only thing i really look for is their attitude. If it's usually a low-beat attitude then i don't really like them. I like people who are up beat and always do something.
Kaden - March 13, 2006 02:54 AM (GMT)
The second one. I get mad, but I can't be mad at somebody forever, I just start to feel bad. Now, if somebody were to like... pants me in the middle of gym, I'd get really made, but just a simple argument isn't a huge deal. On top of that, I don't hand out with the type of people that do that. My friend Steffan for instance, in fourth grade he stole a teacher's pencil, and the next day he felt so bad he gave her two back. XD

I Like to be round up beat people too but if somoe is down beat I find out why and try to help them be alittle happier. But like I said in the oppening post I usually look for something that makes me want to approach them.. If the down beat person seems to be a decent human being I will go out of my way for them.

Meh, friends are overrated.
I prefer short-term, mutual acquaintances... which is why I'm considered anti-social. >_>;;;

Antisocial is when you have an excessive fear of society and human interaction, not when you don't like to be around people.
I forgive, but I do not forget.

every one has there preferance I cant judge ya. But based on your response your relationships with the opposite and or same sex might not go too well. this is not ment as an insult just a general observation.

...*ish wondering if Sayelm is safe*
i look for mainly the outcasts, the intelligent, and the upbeat. I also forgive...but never forget. Most of my friends are considered odd, but they are the coolest. I somehow always attract weirdos though...like the happy-go-lucky goth, the hip-hop redneck, the bigots, the death-metal junkies, and seriously too smart evil geniuses...
...I need new friends

Me... There aren't qualities in particular that attract me. It's just certain qualities that I don't like that determine my friends. Generally, I dislike:
1) Excessive arrogance
2) Compulsive liars
3) Over-pervertedness
4) People who complain too much (hypocritical, I know)
5) Cruel-ness
.. Now that I think about it, there are a few qualities I prefer in people. Honesty, compassion, a sense of humor, being-able-to-take-time-to-listen-ness, being able to keep secrets, not talking about people behind their backs, trustworthy-ness, trusting, etc.
