Not complaining about my warning, it was totally justified, but why is it that people only get warned for flame bait if you direct it at a friend, or associate of a mod? I mean, there is a decent ammount of flame bait on this board, but action only seems to be taken if it happens to a popular member, or whatever. It's corrupt staff. :[

I mean, the staff's primary responsibility on FEW is running it fairly. Friendships come behind responsiblity while on FEW, or they should.

It happens on most forums. Older "elite" members tend to have more of a backing then newer members, or even unpopular ones.

I know it happens a lot, but the fact is, it shouldn't. :/ That's why I'm bringing it up.

1.) I'm too lazy to generally go around warning everyone who slightly flamebaits. And when I do, people like Kio start bitching at me.

2.) I only usually warn the major stuff, which happens to be against the older members. Sorry about this coincidencidental situation.

There's decent amounts of hypocrisy too.

Perhaps we need another G-Mod. I think the reason warnings only involve older members is because they are the only ones who inform a mod. Perhaps we need another mod to search out this stuff.

Seems like a good idea. But if another G-Mod is appointed, it would have to be someone who is on at least 2-3 times a week, and knows FEW well.

That's what RI is for, but flame bait is indeed running amok on this forum. We need to solve this problem... but keep 'casualties' to a minimum when concerning harmless threads in RI. When meant earnestly, however, this is a matter that simply cannot be ignored (for the wellbeing of the board, morale of the members, and the sanity of the forum itself).

I apologize, Valter, but I must side with Aien and the others on this matter. We have to crack down on malicious flamers; it'll make the board a better place. :3

:P but seriously, I'd rather some people were getting caught, regardless of who they offended, than none at all. another mod would probably help, as would a formal reporting system, such as PMing a mod with a link and a quick statement as to how they think they were flamed/flamebaited/etc.

I find it funny how obvious stuff like this is when it happens to a person, and when the same thing happens for the same person's gain, they totally ignore it or don't notice it, funneh stuff bishes :)

I don't honestly don't think flaming/flamebaiting is a problem on this board.

It's such a small community, I know nearly every active member by name, and know most of your online personalities. Therefore I can easily tell when someone is saying something justified, or if they've crossed the line.

Plus, you've shown like 4 counts of flame/flamebaiting, and in most of them it is debatable as to whether they are/aren't. If FEW gets 4 counts of flames every two weeks.. I'd say that's pretty damn good.

I've been here for over a year. I'm on FEW at least every day. I think some more mods and admins are needed.
