Title: Aien

Lionheart - June 1, 2006 02:55 AM (GMT)
Due to reasons which most of you probably know already, b0xd00d has been suspended for a week.

SpiralStatic - June 1, 2006 02:56 AM (GMT)
He's done it again... That's just sad. Can't be helped. Let's just hope we can settle this in a week...

Ronian - June 1, 2006 03:46 AM (GMT)
I've been a little out of the loop, so I actually don't know what happened. Shall I assume flaming issues, or was it image-related?

EDIT: Never mind, I saw it all. How dramatic we all are.

Lionheart - June 1, 2006 03:52 AM (GMT)
Flaming.

I Have a Sandwich - June 1, 2006 04:28 AM (GMT)
Everyone involved in that thread and its cousins are all bloody loons.

Lades - June 1, 2006 06:26 AM (GMT)
It can't be helped. The rules exist so that we can all enjoy our time on here. I just hope it can resolved and Aien joins us again.

Juan - June 1, 2006 02:58 PM (GMT)
Well really tere is always people flaming but they dont get caught i guess when your a respected member or above your held at a higher level oh well a week with out aien.....ok im bored now

Valter - June 1, 2006 03:50 PM (GMT)
What is happening to good 'ol FEW?? Aien is satan-possesed, AL-X is..... himself....
Flame wars are spurting up everywhere.... I hope FEW won't get less active because of this...

Lades - June 1, 2006 06:37 PM (GMT)
Less Active?

Please. This is better than television.

SpiralStatic - June 1, 2006 09:11 PM (GMT)
Oh right Valter, the last Flame Wars were before your time... these Flame wars have happened before... and Aien's been right at the center of them most of the time X_X

strikeraider827 - June 1, 2006 10:16 PM (GMT)
The original flame wars had me at the center. Remember those guys? I was a little fireball, what happened? I grew up.

I hope you watch Hiei and do as nessesary if he pulls much more bullshit.

Yeah, I used to complain about hiei a lot, but now I've given up. <_<

Anyway, I'm suprised he hasn't been banned yet. Aien's not exactly a model member.

Kyrillos - June 2, 2006 12:22 AM (GMT)
lalalala

Lionheart - June 2, 2006 12:24 AM (GMT)
Eh, something went wrong. Fixed.

SpiralStatic - June 2, 2006 12:25 AM (GMT)
Wow... what an oversight...

Richie - June 2, 2006 03:16 AM (GMT)
dramamamamammamamama

Lades - June 2, 2006 08:54 AM (GMT)
Did he get on while banned....geez.

Okies, so i know whats up, can I get a link or two to the old flame wars? Me and Valter feel so left out. lol.

Trace Stratus - June 2, 2006 03:11 PM (GMT)
As Grondy once elegantly put it:

FEW- we know drama.

Ronian - June 2, 2006 06:07 PM (GMT)
No kidding... It's been chaotically dramatic back here now and then, and unfortunately for you, Valter, especially just before you got here. There was a great deal of controversy over Hiei's last sig. Before that, there was Hiei's promotion, which sparked both debate over him being higher up and people being higher up in general. I wasn't around for much else, though.

King Kong - June 2, 2006 06:31 PM (GMT)
The best flame war just so happened to be a fake one. The older one between Matthew and strike, when Matty "kicked" strike out of the country, and they acted like they hated each other. Good times.

Ronian - June 2, 2006 07:27 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I missed that. Is it all in one spot? I'd like to read that if you could dig up the link again.

Puff - June 2, 2006 08:48 PM (GMT)
I actually sided with Aien. I think everyone is just taking his e-tone wrong. Seems that he was just saying his thoughts coolly, but then Hiei came in and screwed everything up... Aien shouldn't get punished because of Hiei.

Hiei - June 2, 2006 08:49 PM (GMT)
It isn't my fault. o___o

How stupid can some people be?

How arrogant can you be?

You may be all 'high and mighty' in your circle of real friends, but in un-'serious biz' cyber space, you ain't shit.. So don't even try to ACT innocent. Aien's tryin gto point out things that can make FEW better, but your consistant incompotence of that is pissing him off... And getting him introuble.

Without anyone suggesting that FEW needs help, it's just going to crumble right down. Sure, you and others may not care, but the people that put a lot of time [and money] into it do care. I sure as hell care... I agree with Aien, staff has been slacking in their priorities and "strictness."

flaming anyone? :ihavepie: :ihavepie: :ihavepie:

'Ivan - June 2, 2006 09:10 PM (GMT)
Must we turn the announcement into a flame war too?

Both Aien and Hiei have their own separate faults. Aien's backlashing is the reason he got suspended, while Hiei's flamebaiting isn't helping either.

(By which I mean DON'T turn the announcement into a flame war or I'll start suspending people.)

... <_< Wow.

See there's a point here with the staff and Hiei controversy. Hiei is complaining about it and he's doing everything he can, staff [some] see the flaming, and yet... There's no punishment.

SpiralStatic - June 3, 2006 12:13 AM (GMT)
Puff, there's no use getting worked up about it. Shit works the way shit works. I hate to say it, but that's just the way things are sometimes. I agree with you wholeheartedly, about Aien and Hiei, but Aien did backlash too much, I've gotta side with 'Ivan on that one.

I'm over it, dear, Reyde. While I was worked up about Aien and Hiei, I think I was just secretly worked up about staff. How many times do they actually punish someone for breaking a rule(s)? You saw my flame, didn't you? A few people probably did... But it took my announcing there was no punishment that someone actually acted on it. ("See there's a point here with the staff and Hiei controversy. Hiei is complaining about it and he's doing everything he can, staff [some] see the flaming, and yet... There's no punishment. "). People are complaining about FEW going downhill, and maybe half of that downfall is reflecting off staff... When they don't do their job to rid FEW of the abusers. "Oh, Staff is soft.. I;ll throw in a flame here and there.. They won't do anything. If they try, I can con them out with a little crying." Sure, they pound the law into necros. I really don't see why there is a rule against necros, most of the "old topics" are more fun anyway, and they could draw in more members... But oh well...
Nonetheless, do you get what I'm saying?

Lionheart - June 3, 2006 01:31 AM (GMT)
For one, I never told Aien he couldn't voice his opinion. He can say the staff sucks all he wants to. I never punished him for that. The fact of the matter is that the way he presented his ideas went overboard in terms of the rules. Generally, I don't take flaming that seriously. I recognize that people get angry sometimes. In fact, it keeps things interesting, in my opinion. But when people start flaming in every single one of their posts, that's when they need to start getting warnings. That's what Aien did, and that's why he was suspended.

As for the comment about people seeing FEW go downhill. I hardly think that's because the staff is lenient. The old FEW was far more lenient than we are now. I think it's a combination of two main things. One, the latest reset did not meet up to the hype we built up. There were some major oversights on the part of the forum team, and those have been fixed, and the new RPG will be released when summer starts for most of the members. The second is that FEW is experiencing alot of growing pains. The "old" FEW that people always remember fondly was when we only had about half the amount of members we have now, and less than that for some of you. We've had some of our oldest members leave this year, and the community is changing. We've just begun to develop a community that changes over time, and that's why we are harmed now; because old members have left and the 'newer generation' hasn't yet had time to define FEW.

Lionheart - June 3, 2006 01:38 AM (GMT)
I'm sorry to announce that Aien has now been permanently banned. Not only did he break the rules and get suspended, but he threatened to hack the board as well on two different accounts.

The Entertainer - June 3, 2006 01:39 AM (GMT)
Quick thing; Hiei was warned during the whole Aien situation..

Hiei - June 3, 2006 02:11 AM (GMT)

Good job Karn. <3

You're my hero.

SpiralStatic - June 3, 2006 02:35 AM (GMT)
Hiei, don't start dumb shit. That's why people get pissed at you. If you wanna know what flamebaiting is, take a good look at your posts in this very topic. You may think you're funny, but simply stated, you're not. 90% of the shit you say is just aggravating. So shut up. For the love of God, shut up.

Hiei - June 3, 2006 02:37 AM (GMT)
Flame bait telling me to shut up

I was just saying Karn is my hero for banning a member who threatened to hack the board

so please, calm down, and get off my back.

SpiralStatic - June 3, 2006 02:41 AM (GMT)
Look who's talking about being a member who threatened to hack the board. XD, you make me laugh sometimes, ya know? And not cause you're funny, just cause you're really stupid. It wasn't flamebait Hiei. It was me voicing my opinions. You piss me off, plain and simple, no reason to hold that back, is there? I also happen to think you're really stupid and needlessly arrogant. No need to hold that back either, isthere?

Hiei - June 3, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
I'd get warned for flaming if I said my opinion about you. Opinions can be flame bait.
