Here is the pointless, but gathered truth.

1) Why did critics lie and say Napoleon Dynamite is hilarious?
Cause they want to get paid.
2) Why do they laugh with the movies????
Because they need to go to the bathroom, or they are trying to find an excuse to escape a bad movie.
3)What happens if the movies scary???
2 thumbs up and they are done for the day.

What is the conclusion,

If you are trying to rent a movie, don't listen to the damn comments. Its all called " liers,and cheaters". Its a critic's job.

I'll sound like a debate team, but not one of your claims has any real evidence behind it. #1 is an opinion, I don't get #2, and #3... okay, so 3 seems fairly accurate; can't see that one being too off. ^_^

You gotta understand. "#1 movie in America" doesnt mean, #1 overall. It may mean its the #1 movie with {insert actor} in it that in theatres.
