The Ice Climbers didn't deserve to stay anyway. They sucked. Same with G&W. Young Link will be replaced with WW Link. I'm happy. ^^

All good changes. Ice Climbers were crap and so was game & watch (Most disapointing final unlock ever!)

To the Ice Climber haters:
They are TEH_PRO characters. They are only good in a pro's hands. I'm not even good with them. They are counters to virtually every character. They don't have any counters themselves.

meh, Ness should be able to beat any set of Ice Climbers at the same or near skill level

but no Young Link??? YL >>> Link, his speed and many long range moves put him near the top tier in my friend group. hopefully WW Link will be a decent replacement for YL

Ice Climbers are THE ULTIMATE ownage if you can use em. Characters like Link and such aren't that good, its just easy for a beginner to use em well.

Ice Climbers are about 3. This one guy got sick with them so they were moved up.

As for Y. Link, he's so much better than Link. Like you said with IC, in a pros hands he rocks. He's so much better at turtling than Link.

The tiers are mainly based on priority, though. Projectiles are what make YL good, so priority isn't really important. The only thing that holds him back is his lack of a good kill shot.

agreed. YL does have a rather depressing lack of killing moves. however, he can rack up the damage fast enough with bombs and arrows to make up for it. Link can't pull this off because he's too slow, but YL is just about right

almost, but I think Shiek beats Fox. I've only ever met one half-decent Falco, so I'll reserve judgement on him. however, Fox is my third best character, so I know him. my main problem with Fox is that is recovery is pretty easy to thwart. any character with a disjointed hitbox, a good projectile and some without either can stop his up-B. however, with Shiek's up-B, your opponent can't tell where you are going until it's too late to hit you.

If I'm not mistaken, Sheik is generally considered the best character on the tier lists. I havn't checked them in a while though. I do think that Fox is the best, though it is easier to play Sheik.

I try and avoif using up for Fox except for recorvery. Reflect, light dash and such are much more effective.

Eh, the tier list is pretty old. Simply put, countermeasures have been created to go against Sheik.

Fox and Falco are better than Sheik; they are both better than everybody.

Marth is basically equal to Sheik to.

B up is only good if you are below the edge. Otherwise, sweetspot with B side on most occasions.

Light dash? You mean Fox Illusion? :S. Eh... B moves are generally laggy and can get punished by spot dodging, wavedashing backwards, or shield grabbing. =/. Using shine as an attack is only good for waveshining when attacking normally. The only other case is for spiking/edgeguarding, really.

Fox is too quick for me. D:. I use Falco if I use a space animal.

Keep in mind that Wind Waker's character wasn't actually Link; rather, he was a desendant of the original. ^_^ That's part of what I didn't like about WW...

gag, Marth. THE easist character to play with, just because of his freaking sword. hardly any skill involved, plus he doesn't improve much with time. the only thing about Marth that takes real effort is his over-B, and my 13 year old brother can handle that.

Falco quite slow to be all that great IMO. any decently fast character can run circles around him, racking up the damage without getting touched.

Most bonus characters are based off of original characters.

I.e. Falco- Fox / Capn Falcon- Ganandorf / Samus- Mewtwo

Fox owns Falco. plain and simple. Personally I want more Fire Emblem Characters added in.

Marth is awsome. His only weakness is a lack of range. He's easily one of the best characters in the game.

Falco is one of the fastest characters in the game, better than fox. You have no clue what you're talking about, do you?

Marth has exceptional range. He just doesn't have projectiles.

Fox is quicker than Falco and has a quicker jump. Falco has a higher jump though.

Really, LoZfan03, they both take an exceptional amount of skill to play as. You can easily distinguish from a pro Falco/Marth from a n00b one.

Falco is most definately not faster than Fox, unless perhaps you hack or something, then it might be possible.

and anyone playing as Marth can do decent just swinging the sword around, but I'll admit, there is more room for improvement than I orginally implied

which is not to say that either Marth or Falco are bad, most of the characters can be good if played correctly

If you don't know why Marth and Falco are top tier, I guarantee you I could rape you in this game. ;P
