Some of your older members out there may be wondering why Esgalglinion, a member who was banned for threatening to mass delete Fire Emblem Wars' topics, was unbanned.

The answer is this: it was a hoax.

Esgalglinion was merely having lots of problems at that time and wanted to leave FEW. Of course, the only way to be forced to leave FEW without being tempted to come back (no, deleting the bookmark does not count) was a ban.

So the two of us agreed privately to come up with a faux reason for his banning. And such.

He didn't count on Sara pestering him.

And thus he is back. All "charges" are dropped, hell, there were no real charges in the first place.

Ah...I'm just a newbie, so I didn't really get to know Esgalglinion. He seems like a good member, apparently, so I hope I get the chance to know him better, now that he's back? ^_^

Another thing, though...pardon my ignorance, but if this member wanted to leave, wouldn't it have been possible to simply delete their account instead of going through the trouble of fabricating a reason to ban them? I know at other Invisionfree boards, admins have the ability to just delete a member's account instead of banning them. Couldn't you have done that in this instance? Again, 'scuse my foolishness...I'm just a newb, pay me no mind ^^;;

The point was because I wanted to leave, but I wasn't sure if I'd get back or not someday. I wouldn't want to lose all my posts ^_^
