I was watching Blue Collar Comedy Tour: One for the Road last night, and he made one of the funniest jokes I'd ever heard. It went a little something like this...

So this old war ship, is sailing along, and they spot an enemy ship on the horizon. The first mate goes up to the captain and says, "Sir, there's an enemy ship on the horizon", and the captain says "Fetch me a red shirt".... so the battle rages on, and the ship doesn't lose a single sailor. Later, the first mate goes up to the captain and asks "Sir, I have to ask, what was the deal with the red shirt?" To this the captain replies, "Well, if I were to be shot, the sailors wouldn't know, and they'd keep fighting." So the first mate, satisfied, goes off into his cabin. The next day, they spot a good 20 or so enemy ships on the horizon. The first mate goes up to the captain and says "What do we do?" To this the captain replies "Fetch me my brown pants"

Um... How is that funny?
