... how come nearly every reply in this forum has quotations in it or has made by Karn or Strike? Oh well, it's a lot more replied than I expected.

Mm. You must have said something really blasphemous there. Bah, it's too bad I wasn't there to hear it...

((I'm lucky you weren't...))

grondring - July 2, 2004 11:53 AM (GMT)
Heh. You probably were.

I like religious fiction just as much as I like religion, which is a lot.

Will you harm me if I post what I had posted up there. I know you're curious...

grondring - July 2, 2004 11:58 AM (GMT)
Very curious. Mm... Fine, I give you my word I won't harm you, curse at you, or otherwise find a way to make you suffer.

I said:
I am not a fan of religious fiction. My favorite is the Bible....And I didn't even like that!

grondring - July 2, 2004 12:05 PM (GMT)
... well, duh. Someone like you wouldn't like something that archaic. Read the Christ Clone Trilogy. I'm pretty sure you'll like that.

Come on, you'll like it. The series is 70% full of blasphemy!

what does that mean? And I might, if I knew what I was reading....

grondring - July 2, 2004 12:16 PM (GMT)
It's written by a modern author. Religious fiction means that it's a normal book except it's got a bunch to do with religion. Blasphemy means a whole lo of heretical things that go against God. (I added "go against God" because I'm pretty sure you don't know what heretical means either.)

I should...

grondring - July 2, 2004 12:26 PM (GMT)
Heh. Heretical and blasphemous both pretty much mean "what Strike is". There are some more detailed definitions but I won't put 'em here because I'd have to exert my head a little to remember them and that would hurt. I do remember that heresy is "denial of basic church principles" or something like that.
