Title: Territorial Bonus
Lord Of The End Times - June 29, 2006 01:07 AM (GMT)
i probaly missed out on this part but what's so great about having territories anyway? aside from the pride
with territories floating around do you think that a bonus for each one (or a few of them anyway) should be awarded to the owner. such as getting a bit of pocket money every so often, maybe a sac full of gold right after you capture it. the peasants may pay you every time you succesfully defend the area, then again one of those peasants may be a local hero who can join your battles. but the area may also cosist of a small store that gives discount items (low grade ones anyway), or a guild that will fight for you (for a price). though your area may be rich in a special type of berry that results in you people automatically regaining 1HP per turn. i could keep going but i think you get the idea.

You get gold weekly for territories.
And if you and your allies get all of them, you win the RPG.
So, yeah, I guess they are pretty important.
Lord Of The End Times - June 29, 2006 01:29 AM (GMT)
but they could even mooore important. and more fiercly fought over. such as a defensive person (who of course dosent take much damage with a good evasion rate) may really want a place that could heal him. or a person may create a high skill and Stength character for the sole purpose to get inside his free territorial ballista and shoot people from afar.

He was here the last time we had Elibe.
I think weekly salary is enough without getting things too complicated. When things get complicated, the RPG dies.

i am a person who got many people mad at me, i was banned for a while, i had another person falsly banned for a while and i plan to slowly create a form of domination over the rule of Fire Emblem Wars. but as i cannot become an admin (because people won't trust me, i think) i will find other ways.

fine, forget the money fussing, what about the other stuff?. you think it's good or bad.
a person could probaly become a sort of land baron, buy a territory off one guy, sell it to a person who wants it more and hire a few mercenaries to defend the territories you still have. course, i personally couldn't be bothered to do that.

Sounds like a band that just wants to have money and stuff. But in a rpg like this, people would sooner kill you off and take it.
Dragon_Tam3r - June 30, 2006 07:32 AM (GMT)
xD Lades is right, not mant peeps would want to buy it, taking it over is easier and funner
Lades - June 30, 2006 07:36 AM (GMT)
Guy: I'll sell this land for twenty thousand!
Lades: ...you're level 2.
Guy: So?
Lades: ^_^ FLUX!
30 mins later...
Lades: I'll this land for twenty thousand!
Guy2: *sharpens axe*

i'm not in a band
by and by, teritories vary substantially from one to another, it's not like a village would give a group the same benifits that a moutain fortress would. and a vast farm pasture could help the defenders while a jagged canyon pass could impede you enemies.
