Ok, this has been bugging me lately.

I don't like Dark Hero. Not at all. He's annoying, immature, and a noob. He's also 12 years old. But you all treat him like shit. It's pretty fucked up. I mean, if he was a noob and you just ignored it, and he got suspended I wouldn't care. But on numerous occasions I have seen people flat out be ass holes to him. I mean, come on. He's 12. I know some 12 year olds are competent, but others aren't. If you spent your time trying to help him improve instead of flaming him and treating him like shit, maybe he would become a decent member.

Ney im 12 for a few more hours, Ive been a dick, no one hleped me a while ago, I came back on my own after Axem unsuspended me.(Long time ago, actualy I was 11 then)

I only flame him at times when he deserves it... I help him out quite a bit on AIM

Who cares if he deserves it? Some people deserve to be shot, but you aren't going to get away with it because "they deserved it."

Also, could someone look at his warn log, and list all the warnings?

This is true, albeit the lack of correct word choice.

He's a young kid who lacks proper forum control and experience. He's just trying to fit in with the jist of the crowd, and instead of trying to help him improve in these fields, we have people treating him improperly. He's a noob, he's not some intelligent forum member, and he obviously won't contribute intelligently in any way--not for a while at least.

But that's just where the problem lies. People (staff especially) tend to blame him for everything out of the ordinary. So what if all of his posts seem "retarded" and "ghey"? Now, if he were a threat to the forum, then THAT would be a different case all in its self. If he threatened to crack into an administrator's account, or destroy the website--those would be cases in which proper action would need to be taken. He's just a forum noob, and probably will be until he accustoms himself better to the forum world.

Darkhero was banned at FEF some time ago, and there was a similar problem there. The staff just didn't like him and banned him for an offense that could be debateable. Let us avoid such a tradegy. :"( :"(

That's my completely worthless two cents. (Or is it worth two cents?) I've never even talked to the guy, and I don't think he's ever talked to me. We're pretty much in a state of mutual ignorance. ^_^ Speaking from general principle, though, someone who acts obnoxiously towards others repeatedly - and gets warned repeatedly - deserves suspension. Whether or not that happened in this case, and whether or not other people's actions provoked him, is up to debate.

Actually I think DH should not be banned at all Hiei is right... sadly.

DH needs a bit of help or else he won't get any better. I think he deserved a few of his flames but not all of them. Hell I agree with Hiei on his staff set up to. Just because some people are asses doesn't mean they deserve total flaming and stuff like that. But if we could help DH and not give him as hard of a time he might actually enjoy his stay and he might actually get better.

Was Darkhero active? I'm assuming he was. What's so bad about losing an active member....you guys didn't like him much, but helping him out could eventually lead to him becoming an actual contributing member to the forum. o_o

Thats a great attitude Zephyr... Unfortunately, the staff doesn't have the time to coddle and lead every member who breaks the rules - if someone consistantly disregards the rules, and doesn't seem to have his morals straight/ maturity up there... we can't help each individual one be a better person and push him slowly in the right direction, though it would definately be awesome.

Remember though, help doesn't have to come from the staff. If you feel like you honestly want to help the guy out, go ahead and give him a PM, talk to him a bit (after his suspension). I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
