Title: No More Post Counts?

at first I wasn't going to suggest this, but now I'm thinking what the hell, it's worth a shot.
I think this would be great. Everyone says post counts mean nothing, this is a way of proving it. :)
It would take a LOT of time to reset everyone, and change all the forums to non post count increasing.

Yeah they are, to show which members have been here. And how active they are. I'm not a vet yet, so if you reset my count they will think I haven't done anything for or posted on the board.

Yea, I thought I'd suggest it, but I know it'll never happen. XD
It works better on more mature forums with more members like FESS. It wouldn't work here well, because the truth is, no one on this forum can compare to the top 10% of FESS's member base in terms of maturity/ability. :/ Myself included.

I'm sure a lot more members could be just as mature as FESS then the ones you listed, a lot of us just don't bother/want to be, different personalities aren't rare on the Internet :P

No.
I mean, on our BEST days, sure. I CAN be mature. But they're constantly mature. And none of the people you listed come close to their experience as staffers.

WE also have been around way less, and moderated way less than they have.
Yes, on our best days, but frankly, IRL, I probably have the more leadership skills than anyone one staffer on FESS, but this is the internet, not IRL, so that really dosn't matter.

Yea ditto. Honestly, I kinda like having a high post count, but getting rid of it is pretty awsome too. Eliminates some spam.
