Introduction

Welcome to the Fire Emblem Wars Fantasy Football League, or FEWFFL! This competition is going to be taking place starting on Thursday, September 7th, which is also the kickoff for the first game in the NFL season, between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Miami Dolphins.

What Is It?

This will be a competition held on the FEW forum, but it will be completely seperate from any other FEW competition taking place. It's not like any other Fantasy Football League that you know of, but it still impliments knowledge of the game and statistical prowess in those joining.

How does it work?

Well, basically, we're going to have groups. Each group consists of participants, working together to make their picks for the week. No group can have more than 5 members, but no less than 2 members. These groups will report to King or somebody that King has approved with their picks for the week.

What Specific Positions do we need to pick?

You'll be picking players fron the following positions: Quarterback[1], Running Back[2], Wide Reciever[2], Tight End[1], Defensive lineman[2], Linebacker[2], Defensive Back[2], and a Kicker[1]. You may not choose any players from the same team, so, for example, you may not choose both Julius Peppers and Steve Smith for your Defensive End and Wide Reciever picks, respectively.

How do Points Work?

It's actually kind of unique, yet very simple, our points system is. Every field goal that a special teams unit kicks gives you 3 points, plus 2 points for 50+ yard FGs, and every extra point gives you 1. All touchdowns will give 6 points. A sack will award 1 point, and a safety is worth 2 points. A passing interception depletes you of 2 points, however, the person picking the pass off will recieve 2 points. Quarterbacks, Running Backs, and Wide Recievers all get points coinciding with their overall yardage for a game. Teams will be awarded a point per 10 rushing or recieving yards, and a point per 25 passing yards.

I'm still kind of confused about the points thing.

Okay, here's a simple breakdown of the points.

• Field Goal: 3 Points
• Extra Point: 1 Point
• All TDs: 6 Points
• Sack: 1 Points
• Safety: 2 Points
• Interception, passing side: -2 Points
• Interception, defensive player: 2 Points
• 1 Point per 10 Rushing/Recieving Yards
• 1 Point per 25 Passing Yards

So, When do Sign-Ups start?

Well, this is a really simple answer; RIGHT NOW! Sign Ups will end at the end of the Preseason, Monday, August 28th at 11:59 PM FEWST[EST] Sharp, so sign up ASAP for the FEWFFL!!
