Title: Would you take a bullet for your mom?
Hiei - August 10, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
yes or no
if your mom isn't alive, etc, your dad.
KuraiKitsune - August 10, 2006 02:24 AM (GMT)
Yes. I never cared much for human life as a whole, so I figure, hey, if one of our lives has to be cut short, why not get rid of the one that's had the least amount of influence? I've known far fewer people than my mother, do not know how to live independent of her, etc... in other words, because she has a spouse, children, relatives that I don't know about, a multitude of friends over the years, a job, a financally stable life, and her sanity, why not let her keep it? ^_^
After all, I've got friends... but that's all I've truly got going for me. :o Keep the one who will contribute most to the family to replace the influence of the missing part. That's what I say.
Puff - August 10, 2006 02:41 AM (GMT)
No. Don't critisize (sp?) me; I love my mother dearly. She's one of my heros... But part of me would rather see her dead instead of still seeing her with her asshole boyfriend. Other than that, she would probably live anyways, the question wasn't deathly specific, so... And plus, I hate hospitals.
Ronian - August 10, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
Yes. For reasons I can't exactly explain, the bullet couldn't kill me anyways, so it's not like I'd die. So if it's a choice between her dying and both of us living... it's pretty simple.
Blademastersupreme - August 10, 2006 03:22 AM (GMT)
Yes. I am not a very useful individual. Most of my time is spent either here, on the computer or there, in my room. I don't contribute to society. I don't have a large group of friends and the friends that I do have pretend to be my girlfriend over the internet. So all in all....not only would it be better for my mother...it'd be better for the world. ^_^

I haven't decided, but I think I would...
Well, I would because obviously I love her, and she's helped me through alot. The thing is... I can't help but think of her opinion. She'd, of course, want the opposite... and there's a selfish streak in me too, not to mention I'm pretty scared of physical pain. If I was actually in these circumstances, though, I'd probably take it. I can see myself being too terrified to think of any of this. :P
I Have a Sandwich - August 10, 2006 02:26 PM (GMT)
No. How many time have you heard "I'd do anything for you" etc? Now if they'd do anything for you, do you think they want you to die before them? Probably not. So no.
Lades - August 10, 2006 03:55 PM (GMT)
No. Just because I don't want to die for her. My youthful future for her halfway used life? Not worth it.
Alex - August 10, 2006 05:22 PM (GMT)
No. I am greedy and a bad person.
Kaden - August 10, 2006 05:24 PM (GMT)
Depends on what kind of bullett.
Dragon_Tam3r - August 10, 2006 06:20 PM (GMT)
Depends, where would the bullet be aimed at? If it would cause a one hit kill, then no, because she mentioned this before, and if it ever came to her or me dieing, make sure it's her, no matter what, but if it'd only paralise a part of your body, like say they shot your arm, leg, or whatever, then i'd take it.

Not for my mom... I'm not really close to her... she's a very small part of my life (I still love her yes...)
I would for my dad... he's been more of a role model to me.
I hunted the streets when I was little... because my parents were never home I went through the streets finding junk to make things with. (I still do... sometimes.) No I was never homeless but my dad's a teacher and he also works at disneyland at night so he's never home... My moms a nurse and she works all day... I searched the streets for things... but since I was 9 years old I started to think about how it affects me... so I only do it when I'm bored (I usually get hurt doing it... now.)
Hiei - August 10, 2006 07:29 PM (GMT)
my answer
no wai
I'm with alex. I wouldn't take a bullet for anyone. .-.
SpiralStatic - August 10, 2006 07:59 PM (GMT)
I can't answer that question really. It all depends on the moment. I could say one thing, and it could end up happening completely different... it's why I don't like this take a bullet questions. I don't like making promises I might not keep.
Valter - August 10, 2006 08:54 PM (GMT)
No. I love life too much to sacrifice it for any one person.
Esgalglinion - August 14, 2006 09:29 PM (GMT)
I think I would. Because somehow, I have this naive feeling that I'll survive a bullet. Then again, there had to be some sort of sick bastard that would want to kill my mom.
warcrie2 - August 14, 2006 10:51 PM (GMT)
i would not only take the bullet but try to survive it somehow and get the SOB who tried to kill my momma :(
:boom:  :o
LoZfan03 - August 15, 2006 12:31 AM (GMT)
yes
unfortunately, this statement means very little considering the chance that I will be around my mom if she is shot at, I will be close enough to her to react in time, I get enough warning that I can react in time and someone else doesn't try to stop the shooter first.
Phoenix - August 16, 2006 04:04 PM (GMT)
If all that LoZ says will happen, still no.
I am extremely close to my mother, and I have nothing against anything she does, but even if she does live and I die, she would have liked to die rather than see me die. It's sorta like, she thinks that I have much more of a future than her, which is true, as I can make decisions that she could not have, and me dieing for her would be a waste of her 14 years.
Also because of the philosophy of non-attachment. If everyone would get that in their heads, there wouldn't be wars.
NinOdaSagE - August 17, 2006 02:31 AM (GMT)
I would.. because my mom is my life. I would die if she left before I was ready. She was the one who taught me everything I did not learn in school... Truth be told, I don't really care for my own life--I'm not like other people, I have no "goals in life" no ambition. So my life is pretty much meanlingless.
However, I can say that if I tried to take the bullet, my mom would probably push my aside and take it herself, thus rendering this whole point useless. -_-
Kio - August 17, 2006 02:34 AM (GMT)
As of now; No. Make that a HELL NO.
grondring - August 22, 2006 03:01 PM (GMT)
=sighs= I'm not on great terms with either of my parents, but I probably would. Make sense? 'course not. Actually it'd probably depend on my mood at the moment, but I think it's more than probable that I'd do it anyway.
Tranz-vestite - August 22, 2006 05:29 PM (GMT)
It's complicated. I WOULD, but my mom would probally be lost if she lost one of her children. She's also bi-polar, which could lead to suicide. Which that's two losses for my family. x_x I probally wouldn't do it for my father either, same thing would happen.
Chainsaw Buddy Chi - August 25, 2006 05:43 PM (GMT)
(I'm bipolar Tranz XD)
No. There's only one person on the pitiful floating ball I would take a bullet for. Sadly it's not my mother. But make no mistake I do love her. =\
King Kong - August 25, 2006 07:08 PM (GMT)
Absolutely. I know my mom would do the same for me.
