Well, Today was very interesting. I got into the biggest fight of my life. Some of my brother friends that are in gangs decided it was ok for them to punch me in the stomach.They soon found out why they shouldn't mess with me. I went up to thier leader and punched him in the face. He was on the ground crying like a little girl with a bloody nose. The other members of his gang( 5 others total.) decided to try to take me out. They pulled a baseball bat and swung it at my left knee. I bent down and held my knee as I let out a shout of pain. Then they hit me on the back with the baseball bat and then they started laughing. I was furious, I lost myself in my own rage. I got up and Limped towards the one with baseball bat and kicked him in the nuts and kicked him in the face. I shouted "Any other of you motherfuckers want to mess with me. I'll fucking kill you all right now." The rest rushed at me and I took about three puches to the face. I grabbed the bat and swung it wildly at one of them. My face was covered with sweat and blood. I could barely stand. And then I felt a sharp/ painful sensation on my leg, One of the bastards stuck a pocket knife about an inch into my leg. I swung the bat and hit him across the face. Then my friends showed up with his Airsoft gun, The gang members ran away and my friend carried me to my house. Fortunately I am ok. My face look like a pillow and my leg is all right. The doctors say that I will have to keep off it until friday. so I guess I am going to be here for a while......


Anyone gotten into anything like this before?

You know, I realize the fact that you did a brave thing by standing up to them, but there's a VERY fine line between brave and utterly retarded. I don't know about you, but survival comes before pride in my book. About them being gang-members, it's NEVER good to get into a fight with ANY gang member, EVER. Why? Because if you beat ass, then you're fucked. You'll either be dead or fucked up in a hospital... That's just what happens with gangs. I know that from experience. I've lost a couple of friends to their own idiotic bravado.

But speaking of similar situations, I got shot at once, by a Blood who was holding the gun sideways XD, bullet grazed my shoulder, still got the scar. Thankfully, he was a crappy shot and close enough that I was able to take the gun away. Fortunately for me, I was wearing a really big hoodie, and it was pretty dark, so the guys couldn't see my face. When I got home, I burned the hoodie and the pants I was wearing. They were my only distinguishing features. So yeah, my life was saved by idiotic bravado/"cool shit", namely holding a gun sideways, most retarded thing ever, and a hoodie...

Exactly. Don't get into fights. Especially if you are outnumbered. And they are in a gang. And they have baseball bats. And they have pocket knives. And you are unarmed, not that you should be.

I live in a small town. I grew up in chicago. Not as bad as new yprk but definately worse that this place. I grew up around gangs and they don't scae me one bit. I have been in situations like this when I was young. I have never been shot though but I have been shot at. Well I am fine now the swelling has gone down and I can finally walk without a limp. And yes Reyde I do have a pride and I push myself to far because of it. But now to another matter.... When one of the gang members hit me on the knee they hit hard enough to take me out of my water polo season, I have spent the past month and a Half Training and nearly killing myself. And Some dumb faggot chose to fight me. Pretty soon there is going to be another fight.....

Well, I'm sorry you're out of the water polo season, I know what it's like to miss a season due to injury(baseball), but honestly, that isn't enough incentive to do something as stupid as getting physically involved with a gang member. Get over yourself before it's too late, honestly.

I have never been in a fight, as I live in the northern suburbs of Richmond, and absolutely nothing goes on here. Thank god. But if I ever did, I would probably run the hell out of there without looking back. Of course, if it were a gang, it would probably kill me, but I don't really think about that, nor do I mind. For me, that is what makes life sooooo good!

I was skateboarding home from school and some retard (he was a year older than me) thought it'd be fun to throw a stick in between my wheels and have me fall. So I got up and I kick him in the stomach. He swung a punch for my face I ducked and tripped him. His friend saw this and he started to charge at me. I got him in the stomach but he got my arm with a pocketknife. I had a giant gash all across my upper right arm. Shallow and nothing to bad so there's no scar. But then the person who tripped me got my arm and bent it behind my back and I fell. I head butted his freind in the balls and he fell to the floor. I then grabbed the person who had my arm by the leg. and I got him to fall and let go of my arm. The other person was getting up so I kick him in shin making him fall again. Then after about three minutes of being hit in the face an adult came out of a nearby house and saved me. I was completely immobile for 2 days.

Not to heroic but the freak started it so I'm not regretting it.

But... he didn't tell me why. I'm not, flambaiting or making anything out of it, but he just stopped mid sentence.

Heh, I'm a freshman in my high school now, and it's renowned throughout the district as the worst high school, so going there you could think that I was paranoid to no end. Thing is, just be around your friends, or someone that you can trust, or, if you're desperate enough, run away and get them to follow you into an area where your friends are. Thankfully for me, the high school's having a more or less "Krueger Rebellion" (Krueger's the middle school I went to, and the closest to the high school), which is basically, if anyone in Krueger gets in a fight, the other person will get surrounded by freshmen/sophomores :P, it's only chaotic like yesterday, where two people from Krueger in a fight. (BTW did I mention, 750 new freshmen this year, yikes...)

Only thing I can think of, good luck getting healed and all, and, I know you may think I'm stupid for saying it, but, if you get in alot of fights like that, just join a gang, doesn't matter if you don't do anything for the leader, as most "gang members" are just idiots who want to fit in, but if you ever get in a fight, gang members are going to run to yours side, just think about it :P.

My dad once told me about a fight that him andmy drunk/stoner uncle got into. The stone jammed a kitchen knife in my dad's leg.

And some years ago, I went down to the neighborhood park with a friend and his brother (Adam and Ryan - Ryan the older). Well, all of a sudden a few guys and a girl come down on bikes.. Completely out of the blue. The guys jumped Ryan; kicking him in the ribs and throughing him against a tree. After sometime, they left. We all went back to my house, the cops were called... Blah blah blah... Ryans back looked as if he'd been whipped like a black child (No offense to anyone, just think slavery days.. >_<;; )


Anyways, in your situation Kakashi... I believe you already know my opinion.

I'm the lazy type, so if anyone actually would get the idea of punching me, I'd just let it go. I know that if I'd fight back, words would get to my parents, who are on nigh pacifists, and I'd have a long and boring preaching of fighting=bad.

There is only one kind of fighting that I approve, and that is when to protect (I know this sounds horribly clichéd) someone you hate to see hurt. It is also the only reason I've ever actually started to fight physically (I fight verbally, yes, just not physically).
