Well, most of you already know that I will be far less active when school starts because I am taking a very heavy course load. I doubt that I would be able to be a good Root during the school year. As a result, I am giving over my Root position to ~Ultima~. Ultima has been with us for a long time and we should be able to count on him to be a stable leader. Note that I had to give over the member number one account to Ultima. Thus, any posts made by me will now seem to be made by Ultima. So any thing posted before today by Ultima is actually me.

Edit: I almost forgot, make sure you send any PMs to this account, seeing as my Root account is now Ultima's.

My changing positions is not the only change, though. Alex, too, will be absorbed with school work. Thus, he is also dropping his admin position.

Furthermore, Kojiro is also going down to a global moderator position.

As you can see, all of our current staff is changing. The new staff list will look like this:

Just in case people wanted to know, I'm resigning because I don't want to feel obliged to be active at FEW during the school year. Last year, I slacked off partially with my homework because of FEW and don't intend to do it again. I will still try and be as active as possible but I'm taking two AP classes this year and one AP class was hard enough last year. I really want to get A's in those classes and a 5 on both exams.

Obviously. I'm still having trouble understanding why you would want to leave over something so small. Al-X WAS admin before, and from what I've seeen from older posts the only real problem he had was that everybody fought him, when he was doing his job fine. Whatever. He's entitled to his opinion.

Well not that many people like A-LX. They don't like him enough to leave. Well There is only two changes that I like, Ultima and Strike.

I've never seen a problem with AL-X.

Hiei not being in a position of power was one of the few good points remaining for this increasingly depressing forum...and the number is thinning enough as it is. I figure someone who only has access to the site because he's an older member and gets too much leeway should not be given one of the highest responsibilities.

I was not around when he was an admin last time, so I have no real point of referrence. I'm just guessing that the way he misbehaves 'without breaking any rules' won't stop when he's given more power. (being on purpose here. if anyone wants a full explanation, I'll be most happy to give it)

and lastly, I'm not leaving. I probably won't leave completely until I get cut off from the internet completely. I'm just saying this place needs changes and that one wasn't nessicarily in the right direction. I'm not righting him off as a mistake quite yet. a part of me is still somewhat convinced that he can do the job, so I'm not going to make a huge fuss about it. even he turns out to be fine, I will gladly withdraw any and all unflattering statements I may have made in his direction.
