On september 4th 2006, Steve Irwin, better known as the Crocodile Hunter died. He was doing a documentary in Queensland when hes chest was punctured by a sting ray. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
I heard about this the very same day he was said to be dead, but I couldn't confirm it until today.
Most of us will remember Steve Irwin as the Australian suicidal maniac who just wouldn't stop being near animals even if it killed him, and for his constantly used "Crikey".
I didn't personally watch his show a lot. But I knew well who he was, and it saddens me he no longer walks this earth.
I'm merely making this topic to honor his memory. For those that wants to show your respects, you may do so here.

That was the best show on animal planet. He will be missed.
I could've cried when I heard about this... I didn't watch his show too often, I still knew who he was and such... He will be greatly missed...
